Recruiting Football Talk VII

Well after 3 days of reading the tea leaves, I believe there is someone or some team out there that is afraid of competing against Nico Iamaleava. I first thought it was Alabama, but since the chair of NCAA Division 1 board of directors is University of Georgia President Jere W. Morehead, I think Kirby and his band of merry men don't want to have to defend a Nico Iamaleava run offense. The NCAA knows it won't win in court, but they are still butthurt that they didn't nail us on the Pruitt scandal and will find that suspending or forcing Nico off our team will be a payback and punishment enough, even if they look silly in court. The question is, will they succeed in suspending Nico or reaching a deal with his family like, hit the portal and we'll leave you alone. JMHO.

All you had to say was Moreland is the chair!? I had no idea and how is this even legal? Of course this is coming from bowl cut... It's been confirmed by several that he's the biggest negative recruiter we have...

Today. Ya never really know.
I mean yeah if a ball girl or staffer was a part, it'd be big news. 3 players of same hierarchy level, less so.

Suspect these things happen more often than we imagine. Similar to the military or jail, just to a lesser degree.

Now Arky fans will make it the excuse for their bum season 🤣

TBf this was said in 2021 and now we have scholly and recruiting reductions and 3 years of negative recruiting we had to build past. And back then folks said the NCAA wouldn't last as well.

Just saying, don't underestimate the scum NCAA and universities hiding behind their veil. They don't actually want to hand any power over to the student-athletes. But they'll take good PR as well, acting like it's not them. It's like congressman acting as if they aren't the federal government...
Tbf that case has absolutely nothing to do with this one…

Not comparing the cases, clearly.

The OP was questioning the power to punish us. Their lack of said ability is yet to be proven...so far...

So I'm talking the ability, if they win, for the snakes to punish us and keep breathing. Folks have said for over a decade they would be unable to punish or simply wouldn't exist by that time. And yet they've lived on time after time, continuing to punish. Maybe this time is different, sure. It's one of those "have to see it to believe it" situations. Snakes gonna snake.
