I don't trust Greg Sankey or anything North of Jellico.

*PSA: Sankey is not our friend!!! That also goes for ESPN, the SEC, and anyone associated with alabama (Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Paul Finebaum, the onfield/replay officials, ect).

**Tuesday night at TBA, with the pride of Mobile Al.... referee Pat Adams, should have showed you that. The SEC still hates UT and Sankey is the head of the snake. 🐍

I sure hope Donde can make a compelling argument to ensure Stanley backs us and not the ncaa here

@Orange. So Jave really isn’t a Vols fan?? Glad I have him on ignore!!
JMO, jave, who is generally wrong about everything, is making a pretty common sense point.

Orange is a mildly entertaining conspiracy nut, who is also generally wrong about everything.

I skipped like 20 pages so I probably also am wrong about everything because I read basically none of it.

Feel free to forget you read this post.

If Sankey backs us, and I believe he will, it will be to position himself, along with the Big10 commissioner, into being heads of whatever "super conference" happens after the NCAA is dissolved. It's almost worst case scenario in my mind. What I've hated for years (the SEC) is about to become even more powerful.

The other SEC schools should be against this move, especially UGA. They said it themselves after the SEC Championship game.... "Smart never beat Saban when the officials were from the SEC".

Alabama may not be the best SEC team going forward but there are evil people in dark places making sure the TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS aren't either. Sankey is the head of the snake. 🐍👀

I liked both these posts. There’s nothing relevant about their sexual orientation to the story imo. What’s funny (if you’re anyone but an Arkansas fan) is that the coach did not manage the team properly to prevent this scenario. It’s like workplace relationships, there’s a reason you’re told and coached not to create them. Because it puts your team and your job at risk unnecessarily when it doesn’t work out for the best. It’s a distraction that can easily develop into a disaster. I feel bad for Musselman because he is well liked and respected, but cmon man you had to get ahead of this to not end up being the butt of a joke/headline.
This board let loose many a post over Dillon Bates, his girlfriend, & Vic Wharton lol.

Stuff like that is always a story.

I don’t remember any of the outrage posts from then…
“Yea, so?!”
“And???”
“Who cArEs!!!”

Anyone have any suggestions on how to find tickets to a home basketball game? Looking to buy some for the Vanderbilt game but want to avoid the fees on Ticketmaster, Vivid seats, etc. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've bought a couple of sets in the ticket forum from @THEONLYTENISEE .

Seats are 3rd level but only $50 total for 2 tickets for a game.

Last I saw he still had Vandy tickets.

@Orangeredblooded

Not caught up, but trying. You can post it in this thread or email me at

Put your VN moniker in the subject line please.
I’m sorry Doc, I mostly see your post on my work computer (yes, like most of my VN brethren, I catch up at work). I didn’t want to post on my work computer.

I just wrote out a detailed account, but deleted it because of I’d be skirting HIPPA.

Sorry, give me a few days to word it right.

I think that it would be rare for the same problem to happen at a different place. There aren't that many gay D1 players let alone ones who are going to hook up with each other instead of someone else. Arkansas caught lightning in a bottle - just of the unfortunate variety.

Yeah, and it’s not there being gay thing that caused the locker room implosion imo. It’s the fact that gay players started dating one another. Just like workplace relationships, that was always going to end badly. Had the gay players treated basketball like a job and kept their dating lives out of basketball, things probably be much better for Arkansas basketball. As it is, there have been hurt feelings which has made for an awkward situation for coaches and players alike. Almost impossible for a team to play up to its potential with that kind of locker room drama (assuming the rumors are true, of course).
