The gay love triangle is really only weird because it's said to have happened on a team otherwise love triangles of various sorts are common as hell. THAT on the other hand. I'd say 'who the hell does this?' but I swear I have seen a similar case in the news before with guys wearing vests shooting each other.

Media reports indicate that Sankey really likes Donde and is firmly behind UT here. They mentioned that He showed up to UT's last NCAA hearing with UT as well, "showing a united front".

Donde may be the only university chancellor to become an actual folk hero in modern times by just being a good chancellor (not from an external event). Errbody loves her. Besides, Sankey showed for us the last time and that was when we were admitting wrong doing. It's in his interest and the conference's interest to back us on this one. I think the announcement the SEC & B1G did earlier today planted a giant flag of support for us in the NCAAs HQ.

I think it was Price reporting... Said Sankey likes and trusts her. She communicates with him often and is very transparent with him. As long as he's not blindsided, he has our back.

That's one reason I couldn't understand the posts earlier, afraid of the idea that SEC and BIG may withdraw from NCAA and combine into a new entity. The SEC is not weak. It's probably the most powerful conference, and it makes zero sense for the SEC to orphan UT in the mix.

I just don't think you're capable of the nuance required to understand the point I was making. I've been criticizing the idea that clever legal gymnastics and contract language by Spyre are going to save us here.

I've not been saying that we did anything wrong or that the NCAA will prevail here. In fact I've been consistently saying the opposite, that they'll have no chance here because literally everyone is doing exactly what we're doing and there were no rules in place when Nico signed.

But because I spent several posts arguing with someone that the NCAA is right about the clever contract language being mostly bogus, you got stuck on the first 4 words "the NCAA is right" and can't continue to process the rest of the idea that says they're still overall in the wrong despite being right about one very minor, almost irrelevant point.

You're just not capable of understanding a nuanced, non binary point of view because you are such an extreme, binary personality.

Edit @Orange. I realize this post is fairly strongly worded against you personally. I hope it doesn't give the impression I think ill of you as a poster or person (despite the strongly worded post you levied at me). I enjoy you as a poster and usually enjoy conversation with you (not this one), and while I'm not overly concerned with your opinion on my Fandom, I do want to make sure I didn't go too far calling out your "sometimes overly passionate" (in my opinion) personality here. If I did, my apologies. I disagree too violently sometimes.

I felt like after all the NCAA stuff came out and Donte, Danny, TN Ag came out so swiftly that something else was coming big. The SEC and Big Ten coming together, or their orchestration of timing was a signal that this was well thought out and a power move. I’ve got my popcorn, I don’t even care if it’s stale at this point.
