Recruiting Football Talk VII

I stopped by our local co-op this afternoon to grab a bag of dog food. There was a lady standing at the counter next to me ordering a bag of calf Pro milk replacer and telling the clerk waiting on her that the mama was just not interested in letting the newborn calf feed.............. I got tickled for a brief moment.

Maybe he was just following his old coach, and hadn't heard the rumor that Saban is deliberately sabotaging the new Bama coaches. Prolly couldn't image what a dump Tuscaloosa is, either; I'm sure he'd been told, but it's worse when you see it for yourself.
Finally read the fine print in his contract and refused to marry his sister imo.

Hey guys, I don’t usually have any inside info, but I randomly got to talking with a friend of a friend who is really well connected at Bama. He said Saban is meddling and causing lots of issues with the new staff down there. Crazy stuff.

That may be it!

Never followed it close, but living in the Bristol area, it was an impossible ticket for a long time. Waiting list for yearly tickets.

Easily available for cheap now!
I too used to go to the races at Bristol, especially the Aug. night race. Having a mil that lived 1/4 mile from the track made it soooo much cheaper and enjoyable for me. That used to be one of the hardest tickets to get in all major sports. I hated Dale Sr. back in the day but I did grow to at least respect him. After most of the old guard retired, ie Mark Martin, Waltrip, Bobby Allison et all and then the formation of the super teams followed by all the cookie-cutter tracks, tons of fans lost interest. The sport has lost most if not all of its" villains. It desperately needs to move back towards its' roots and what made it grow by leaps and bounds in the 70's and 80's.. Give me Dave Marcis driving in dress shoes while smoking a cig, Mr. Excitement Jimmy Spencer and Dale Sr and DW beating and banging every lap at Bristol

There is a lot to love about Inge.

1. We stole him from DeBoer
2. He has worked multiple years with Deboer
3. He has coached multiple spots and been a DC so he knows more than just LBers.
4. He has had good production and improvements on his squads
5. He just coached in the NC
I’ll judge him on how he does against UGA

Tony Stewart wasn't getting Christmas cards from other drivers lol..

Hated it when Richard Children's brought car #3 out if retirement.

I understand Austin Dillon is Childress grandson but #3 was Earnhardt..

I never liked DW myself, was a Earnhardt fan. We used to love to hear a rusty Wallace interview after a race just to hear him crying. They don't have drivers like that anymore. Bristol and Talladega were my favorite races to watch, must see tv along with Daytona of course. You're right, there's no villains left. Gordon was hated by almost everybody I knew. Those villains just made it that much better.

I know someone who lives in Alabama. I heard the same thing. Saban wants the program to fail so he'll be missed. The way Saban lied to the players he recruited was prolly enough to cause chaos, without him trying to sabotage the coaches.
😆 Someone is going to try to skip a few pages, and it is going to be on Twitter.

The only person I've invited to my Worry Dodecahedron atm is @DD4ME . Only cool people get to polyhedron with me. BOT and VIB have not been invited. Be nice, and maybe you'll get an invitation.
Would you all happen to meet in the parking lot between Chili's and Marshalls on Clinton Hwy?20240216_164615.jpg
*Real picture taken last Friday, in said location.
