I definitely didn’t make the same mistake twice…I got a Great Dane after that..I looked into Great Pyrenees and met up with a breeder to see how they were and they were the sweetest dogs the only reason why I went with a Great Dane was because of how bad Great Pyrenees shed….this is dodger my Great Dane (the one who looks like he read the whole drivers education book)😂😂😂

Absolutely true about GP and shedding. After winter we usually brush out Bear in the goats field. We do this so the birds can get nesting material. Once done for the day it looks like a complete animal was brutally murdered in that field. I'm convinced Bear is at least 50% hair! He is mixed with Anotolian Shepard but he got GP fur and AS build.original_64cc2c9c-379f-457c-a590-6265caff8a60_FB_IMG_1605411667511.jpg

79% of the year I have an employee working the grindstone?
bill-hader-sign-me-up.gif
I know. You'd be giving a total of only 26 total days off for holiday, vacation and sick time (78 total days less 52 days normally off for weekends). With only 33 average precip days per year in Phoenix, an employee would, in effect, get 0 total days for holiday, vacation and sick time and would also be sacrificing 19 days they'd normally have off on the weekend. They'd work 90.4% of the year - yes, please!

To add to my earlier post about Barnes and the Tournament...

He's taken the Vols to five tournaments in seven years, about to be six out of eight. Two of those tournaments, Cinderella bent us over at half court and made us like it...with Loyola-Chicago and Florida Atlantic riding a heater all the way to the Final Four.

One of those tournaments, 20-21, Cinderella felt just a standard ass-whipping would suffice, with Oregon St finding midnight in the Elite Eight...they were on fire entering the tournament, having just won the Pac 12 tourney; and rode it until they lost to Houston by 6. And, in 18-19, Purdue upset us in overtime, then got beat by 5 in overtime by Virginia, who went on to win it all.

Yes, a couple of those years were downright frustrating and sucked, especially 18-19; while 17-18 and last year were...fate. Loyola-Chicago/Florida Atlantic...NO ONE wants to face teams like that whenever they're on a Cinderella run, NO ONE. NOTHING is stopping them until the Final Four...we've seen it time and time and time, again...year after year after year. As I said Barnes was just snakebit...to have to face two teams making runs like that.
Sounds like a lot of excuses….. the tournament opened up for us the years we lost to Loyola Chicago and FAU …. No excuses at all for losing to either team…. My most irritating game was losing to Michigan…. How do you lose to a team missing one of its best players on a team that shouldn’t have been in the dance… He struggles as a tourney coach…. Hopefully, He gets it done this year. Go Vols!

We've owned big dog breeds for decades. They always look to me for keys on how to react.

This talk of being seen as alpha/boss, it doesn't mean you need to always be muscling and challenging them most times, it's as simple as lifestyle.

From puppy on up, any time one of our dogs want something--whether it's to go outside or have a treat--I always make them perform a task on my command before they get what they want.

Scratches at the door to go outside? Sit after I tell you to sit.
Want a piece of this snack I have? Sit and shake on command.

It's a wonderful way to establish respect and pecking order in a healthy way, while also teaching and encouraging self control.
One of the best ways to become top dog is to ignore them at the right time. Most pet owners if their dog nudges them and demands attention they give it which is the dog telling the human what to do and the human obeying.
My dog never nudges me for attention but if he did I would not respond positively.
A dog should only be shown affection/attention on the owner's terms. My wife is terrible about that and at letting our dog enter the door first. "Awww... how can you ignore that face," she says.
You don't muscle or beat a dog, you just need to let them know that you're their daddy and make them do your bidding instead of the other way around.

Had one and his name was “Buddy”. I can attest to the shedding but they are absolutely the greatest dogs….particularly if you have children.

Can confirm the Pyrenes sheds A Lot and is very sweet but oh so obstinate. She loves to 'run away' if she escapes her leash and will not come back when called. Younger pic...

Southeast Appalachia is a Temporate Rainforest. I believe it's Atlanta that gets more rain than anywhere else in the continental US. Yes there is an island off Washington state that gets a lot of "rain" but it's mostly just covered in mist from the ocean.
The only rainforest in the eastern US is a corner of the smokey mountains in NC and TN. Maybe a few small spots in VA too.

Wait...a anonymous MISSOURI fan donated 60 MILLION to NIL to obtain talent?...😳

That makes zero sense...I love the Tennessee Vols and if was rich I would donate a lot to Spyre myself...but 60 MILLION is f'n ridiculous. That is literally a idiotic brain dead number...

Has to be some billionaire

Vols have two HUGE games this week... This will be the best indicator of whether we've turned the corner or not... If we can survive the first half against AU and the game is called reasonably fair, no reason we shouldn't come away with a gutsy W... We must keep KD in check for Auburn and not let him get hot/fired up... his team 100% feeds off his energy or lack thereof...

We can't go into tusca timid, we must come in fired up and playing confident... this will be our toughest remaining test on the road...Again, weather the first half, keep it close, and then bear down the second half. I have a feeling fouls are going to be a big factor in this game... Aidoo, Mashak, and Awaka have to have good games and everyone needs to show up, and I'm looking at you JJJ and Vescovi! Would be great if Gainey shows out and gets into rhythm as well...

Turned what corner? We have been consistently good for like 7 years now no conference game is going to make me question how good the program is…
