One of the best ways to become top dog is to ignore them at the right time. Most pet owners if their dog nudges them and demands attention they give it which is the dog telling the human what to do and the human obeying.
My dog never nudges me for attention but if he did I would not respond positively.
A dog should only be shown affection/attention on the owner's terms. My wife is terrible about that and at letting our dog enter the door first. "Awww... how can you ignore that face," she says.
You don't muscle or beat a dog, you just need to let them know that you're their daddy and make them do your bidding instead of the other way around.

My husband was the pack leader. He bites the ear when playing to establish it, etc. It frees me to do what I am told. But they still knew they had to obey me when serious.

Man I want a rematch with UNC. Some of their fans on FB saying "we dogwalked TN" "they don't deserve top 4" blah blah. They act like they didn't just get beat by GEORGIA TECH & have an out of their minds shooting 1st half and TN have 1 of their worst defense of efforts in a few seasons.. they also don't realize we had just got back from Hawaii couples days before that game.. Id like to have seen what would have happened if DK don't go down with 3 mins left down 6 & him going to the line for 2. We may pull it out or atleast be there in the last min. Hell we still was without him. Entitled pricks lol

Sounds like a lot of excuses….. the tournament opened up for us the years we lost to Loyola Chicago and FAU …. No excuses at all for losing to either team…. My most irritating game was losing to Michigan…. How do you lose to a team missing one of its best players on a team that shouldn’t have been in the dance… He struggles as a tourney coach…. Hopefully, He gets it done this year. Go Vols!

Whenever I think about the people who hate on Barnes, I think about the Donkey in the parable of the Donkey, Tiger, and Lion. Those that argue with the haters are the Tiger, and the rest of us are the Lion (although, I must admit, I've been the Tiger before).

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, I very much suggest looking up this parable...ESPECIALLY in this day and time.
