They all say that. Knecht did not learn much defense, he was obviously our worst on defense. NBA teams want to hear those words and see it backed up by actions (like going to play for a Barnes type). It's very likely of Knecht gets drafted high that a similar elite scorer will be willing to take the same path if we have a good supporting cast like this year.

Last I heard Aidoo wants to be a Vol. He was receiving huge $$$ offers from Duke and UNC last offseason, as well as some other schools in the country. He stayed in Knoxville for less. Who knows, maybe he decided a few weeks ago to move on and wasn't playing with a full heart. Or maybe Miss St, Creighton, and Purdue were bad physical matchups for him and better matchups for Awaka and we are overthinking it.

The chances of getting another Knecht are slim to none. Those guys are few and far between.

What will hurt Knecht is his age. Teams question a guy that's older than his peers. Are they that good or just that much more mature than who he was playing?

Like I said, if Knecht gets drafted high other elite scorers will consider copying him. If not, it'll be tougher to get an elite scorer here like that.

We need to put together a tape of all the non-calls against Edey in that game, then sue the refs and the NCAA. The way the NCAA has been losing in court lately, they may just crown us National Champs to avoid seeing another judge.

Well you don’t need to be as amazing a defender against Edey if you are big enough to not get pushed around. Edey listed at 300 pounds. Aidoo at 233. 70 pounds is a lot, even at that size.

MBG lost their stuff once they got burned on the Saban retirement.

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Bama. They brought in a huge portal class and put together a top team. Turned it into a F4 run.

Tennessee can do that this offseason. No, you can't get a Dalton Knecht. Nobody will. But you can get a couple of guys like Love, Sears, Sheirman, etc and might be better set for success and have another great season.
