I'm just going to say this, and doing so I am in no way implying I want Barnes gone. Exactly the opposite because I didn't think we can do any better.............. with that said Barnes' style of play makes it very difficult to win in the deeper in the tourney you go. It's hard to beat the refs and the team your playing.

The game is set up for finesse, it's just weird that they let the most physical.... And boring player in the game have his way. There were some egregious calls in this game, and 75% plus went against orange tonight. It is what it is.

Actually, Barnes’ physical style is better for the tournament because officials don’t call as many fouls in the postseason. They want the players to decide the outcome. But it’s the consistency that is the problem.

I wonder if Aidoo is encouraged to look around this off season.

I will feel pretty good if we don't lose more than 3 in the portal, we've been able to find and add some solid pieces the last few off-seasons.

This year DK obviously a diamond, Gainey not a popular addition but filled his role as a 6th man very well and improved a ton defensively as the year progressed.
Last year it was only Key, he was frustrating but overall as a 6th option he added value

This year will be the first though where we need to add potential starters and in bigger numbers. Got at least 2 spots to fill right now and most likely another 1 or 2 opens up with portal losses.

We got beat by a well coached team.
Eady proved he was POY. He is unstoppable. Knect deserves to be a finalist, but he is occasionally stoppable

Zeigler will go down as an all-time great as well

Barnes’s best players were unheralded recruits - it’s been a joy to watch

I’ve thought a lot about this. In my time as a fan (early memories starting in mid-80’s), here’s my top 5:

1. Allan Houston
2. Dalton Knect
3. Chris Lofton
4. Grant Williams
5. Ron Slay

If Knect was here multiple years, he would take #1. If I coulda seen the likes of Ernie & Bernie, etc., this list would be more complete.

He hit the deck hard several times in the post season and I heard someone say he was hurting. Almost every miss was short. That screams tired.

I am still working through my stages of grief over this loss. I know it is just a game, but i was rooting for these guys . I am making it to acceptance. Hurt for the players and coaches though.

The West 1 or 2 and we had a better shot.

Heard a conversation on T.V. sports talk show and people are worried more now about whether player x is getting those 5 assist instead of caring about teams accomplishments.
