pruitt has worst hire in Tennessee history sewn up. He is closely followed by dooley and kiffin who are neck and neck. Donnie tyndell is trying to get into the conversation. Somewhere back there, butch is laying bricks.Remember:
Butch Jones and Lane Kiffin were popular hires. Scott Frost was the crowned savior at Nebraska.
Jimbo Fisher was a home run for A&M.
Dave Serrano was a hugely popular hire.
Leipold was a nobody winning D3 national titles before Buffalo. Oats was seen as an easy cop-out hire who was a high school math teacher just 2 years prior at Buffalo. Heupel was viewed as White failing and bringing his boy with him from UCF.
Being popular or unpopular to the fanbase has no precedent. It's not a predictor of success. We, as armchair AD's, have no idea if Caldwell is the worst hire in major UT sports history (though I find it extremely unlikely) or if she's going to have us playing in a Final Four in the next 5 years before going on a legendary career continuing to average >.800 record.
I do know Danny White comes from a basketball family. He knows the game. He knows it when he sees a coach who has "it."
Let her cook.
Maybe they'll spousal hire as an analyst for MBB.I'm genuinely curious as to what happens with CKC's husband. I mean he's an assistant for the Marshall's men's team. Does he follow her her and work for Rick in some capacity? Does he find something at a small school in the area? Does he end up on her staff?![]()
Pearl is the perfect fit for the Mildcats. They like shady, he has the morals of a tomcat. They like whining, his parents are Doug and Debbie Whiner. They're stupid hillbillies who think they are the upper crust. He's a used car salesman who thinks he's the CEO of Bentley. I love it, it will produce the kind of hate that would have me easily pull for a team islamic suicide bombers over them.If Pearl goes to KY he's a trash human.
If he goes to KY now after what Auburn did for him and his time in Knoxville no doubt in my mind he would've left us too if he hadn't gotten show-caused.
