I’m not trying to simply “add sports” either.

I’m trying to add Gymnastics.
It’s a marquee Women’s sport in the SEC.
Interest, Eyeballs, Buzz - It would bring all of that.

Sure, it would take money to start up.
But Tennessee fans would support a quality program.

I’m not sure but I think it has to do with equaling out numbers of scholarships - the women’s sports scholarships I think are supposed to equal the men’s sports scholarships in number. I know we have rowing but some schools don’t. Auburn & Georgia have equestrian but we don’t, we have volleyball but Vandy doesn’t. I don’t really know how schools decided what sports to add and remove when Title IX happened.

I think he said 2,000 or something like that. Most people think the number is contrived. Still -- he had his fair share of women.

Shawn Kemp had baby mamas in several NBA towns. My cousin is a teacher in Atlanta and she taught Shawn Kemp IV.

Kemp wasn't the only one. One of the benefits of an NBA player was the availability of groupies in every town. It was engrained in the culture. Not sure if it's still that way or not.

For me it was the media hype machine and to be honest I don't think Lebron really has any say in that. From HS to now he gets more coverage than any other athlete I've ever seen and the news story fatigue is my only annoyance with him.

Elite player, amazing leader and seems to be a great family man as well.

Similar with caitlyn. I hate her so much and none of it is her fault. I'm just so sick of seeing her and Taylor and Kelce. I want all of them to fail miserably at whatever they do.

Yeah and since football eats up so many scholarships for men you have to add other female dominated sports. I think softball and soccer the female teams give more scholarships than the men's (could be wrong though)

He's not my favorite player all-time (Bird) and I don't think he's the most valuable player ever (Kareem). Not so coincidentally, those two players also have huge egos and were notoriously hard to get along with. Again, leaders and winners.

I despised Bird and disliked both Jordan and Kobe, yet appreciate their greatness today. Mebbe I simply abhor his use of the bully pulpit on social media (which wasn’t a factor with the previous mentions) targeting the GM of the Rockets for speaking out against the human abuses committed by China (the piggy bank that’s mostly funded his near billionaire status) and the police officer who saved an African-American girl by shooting another one millimeter from stabbing her to death. His micromanaging the rosters of both the Cavaliers and the Lakers and then criticizing the teams for the failed results. There’s transcendent greatness in his body of work on the court, but not letting his play speak for itself and not quite delivering in the clutch reduced him on my list. People that love him won’t be affected by the many who don’t.

A Kobe Bryant led Lakers team wouldn't have gave up a 12 point lead going into 4th Quarter and a 9 point lead with 6 minutes left.

They called Kobe the "Mamba" for a reason he was a cold blooded assassin who would rip the other teams heart out.

Plus as a Lakers fan how many times did you see Kobe rip into Pau Gasol's *** on the sidelines or on the court. Kobe demanded greatness from his teammates. Number 1 reason Dwight Howard hated Kobe.

That's a fair point. When it's all on the line, I would likely want Kobe over Lebron. Lebron is still one of the greats leading in Points all time and approaching with Assists.

At Christmas time…. my wife sent me a pic of Hey Dudes that she wanted… I went in one store and showed them the pic…. They took me to the women’s section but they only had one size left. I tried a different shoe store with the same pic… They took me to the mens department… They were the exact same shoes. Hey Dudes are gender neutral.
