Anyone else noticed teams doing that lately? I think UVA did it recently and several other random schools. I think it looks really really bad. Who thinks that looks cool??

He did better at OT last year imo, relieving Mincey. You hate to see it in a guy who has likely achieved eternal fame on account of puking and glaring at Bama. Maybe if Mincey settles down, Crawford will regain his form? I don't know if we will try him at LG. Supposedly we tried nearly every OL nearly everywhere before the season started. Agreed. Never once while playing did “I wish a player would get hurt” did we want to hit them so hard they didn’t want to catch the next pass or run the ball, of course we did.

But never an injury.

I never want to see a kid get hurt, but I understand Weezie’s point. There’s a lot of bitterness on how Hendon got hurt last years game. I don’t know if I believe all the speculation that USCe trucked in sand for their field, but revenge is a powerful emotion.

I just realized that I have been on here twelve years this month. What a crazy ride lol. Been through Dooley, to Butch, to Cornbread ( with stints from Cheney, Hoke, and Steele lol). Everyone be mortified because they have injuries. It's weak and it's sad that we're playing them while they have injured players. We're taking shortcuts.

Injuries are part of the game. Trying to cause them should not be. Absolutely we should hit him hard and often. That's as far as it needs to go.
