It's not a strike because the pitcher threw a ball, Burke made a check swing and no good ump is going to call him out in that situation.

Also, as the announcers repeated at the time, it looks like BB went too far from that bad, oblique, distorting angle (and notice in that cropped shot someone has suppressed that fact by cropping the plate from view). That is NOT a true side view.

But, from the best and definitive angle, they repeated, it looked like the right call and there was nothing to show that the call should be overturned.

And it wasn't only the 9th inning. It was the second half of the game. We outscored them 8-2 over the last 5 innings. They had a 5-run lead at the end of 4 and took a beatdown from our guys after that.

If it weren't for the RF, wifey might not have gotten antibiotics yesterday or gone to the doctor so soon. Fluid in one lung that would have likely turned into pneumonia, the doc said. I'm really grateful.

I would like to say how much I appreciate ex Brave Jason Heyward who smashed a Grand Slam last night in top of 9th inning to help Dodgers come back from a 9-4 deficit to win 11-9 in 9 innings.

He was decent as a Brave when he left via Free Agency and had injury issues is when his career had a downturn.

Heyward was giving a chance by Dodgers due to his great friend Freddie Freeman asking management to give Jason a look last season and he has done well in the games he has played.

Show me where I have ever disparaged anyone like Orel Hershiser for example..I freaking hate hate hate the stupid Dodgers, but I have never and would never stoop to saying ridiculous disparaging demeaning about him...he was great and I know it.
