Well. . . its a bye weeks, so what are you gonna do this weekend?

If you're in or around Knoxville and want to do something fun that's a little different, I recommend taking the old lady and kids to the "Tennessee Medieval Faire." . . or dragging your husband out to it.

I've never been before, but I'm going to check it out this weekend. I've never really been into stuff like that, but I bet it's pretty cool.

They do Knight Swords fights, real jousting, belly dancing, comedy shows, axe throwing booth, a bunch of renaissance vendors, a medieval tavern with beer, etc. It seems like it'll be different, but fun.

It also has a pirates theme. It's in Harriman. I'll post a link in a minute.

Starting Wednesday morning I will be in a tree stand in the morning waiting on a deer to come by so I can shoot him with my bow and arrow😏 then Saturday I will visit my new Grandson who will be born on Wednesday...also watch a little football in between...

It's impossible to not read the internet? Hardly.
It’s very possible to note items without allowing them to influence every individual whim and impulse. McGill is a Bass level good poster who equally panics and throws his arms up in the air with the slightest provocation. Both a football season and recruiting in general is a lengthy process which is never all or nothing based on one or two developments.

Kamal Hadden appreciation post. You'd never know it given the way he's talked about here but...

10 catches allowed on 26 targets / 38% completion percentage / 2.46 YPA / 2 INT (1 pick-six) / 0 TD / 5 PBU / 14.6 NFL QBR. Only 2 PI calls and both were against Austin Peay. Pretend those are 15 yard catches and you've got 12/26 for 3.6 YPA.

That's dominant, and if it's not apparent just how dominant, how would y'all feel if Milton had a game where he went 10/26 for 64 yards, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs with a pick six and a 14.6 QBR. How many would say, "Well Milton got a couple PI calls so it's still a good game" lol.

Among CBs with 20+ targets in the country:
1st in NFL QB Rating allowed
2nd in YPA
3rd in coverage rating (PFF)
8th in completion%

He's #1 in the SEC in every one of those categories.
Facts: Top DB in the best conference

No their QB isn’t good again. They’re the same one dimensional team that they are every year.

Leary went 15/29 for 205, 1 TD and 2 INTs vs Vandy. Followed that up 9/19 for 69 yards and 1 TD vs FL.

But it’s on the road so who knows what’ll happen.
This. Lube U has no pass game. Stop there run and we can win boat race them.

I hear ya. Stats don’t tell the whole story. Much like QB completion. I would take Milton over UF crap QB. His 78% means nothing with just short throws.

Appears we slide a safety many times over to help Haddon.

But hey, after the Florida debacle, our DBs and whole defense played amazing last weekend against a fantastic QB. Proud of all of them.
Yeah they working around Hadden's limitations a bit, I think part of that is knowing that most teams are going to try and test him because of last season.

Secondary overall is still not as good as they could be based on ratings...of course ratings aren't the end all for talent. But the development of Hadden specifically from last year to this year has been a positive for Willie.

I think the better players are still to play in that unit. Some are just too inexperienced to trust on the field, some are nursing nagging injuries as they transition from HS to college, and some still have to figure things out before they'll play...but they are coming and that's exciting!

I’m going to watch aTm and Bama take out each other’s best players. Just for the next few weeks, of course.

Devin Leary has been BAD so far and they haven't played any good teams except the Gators who are just okay.

57.7% 1129 yards 10 TDs to 5 INTs

Florida was the first game he didn't throw a pick in...but Kentucky is a team that if you allow them to run the ball it's going to be tough always. Stoops wants to dominate TOP and will run it 30+ times a game if he can.

I'm not worried about any rushing attack in America if our front 7 are as dominant & consistent as they were vs the fighting capon cockerels.

This might be my new favorite GIF. The look on his face is so cringe and so Beamer.

We've not been dominant or consistent though... Florida had 183 rushing yards and South Carolina (last in the SEC in rushing) had 132 both were over 4 YPC too.
Now to be fair in each game we allowed one big run, Florida had Etienne hit a 62 yarder and South Carolina had Anderson pop a 75 yard run.

Kentucky is averaging 6.5 YPC a game, but the competition has been questionable and Florida got gashed... the Gators are just an atrocious road team though so who knows if Kentucky's performance is about them more or about the Gators no-showing when outside the swamp. Before that game Florida's rushing defense was top 3 in conference holding teams to 82 yards a game...

16/21 - 8.1 YPA - 99.3 NFL Rating against. At BYU his strengths were more in run support than coverage. His coverage stats here haven't been fantastic, but I think he's been great on the short routes / run support where we really needed help.
I agree Hadden is very good against the pass. With that said, when we play Kentucky and Alabama I want GJL and Slaughter at DB with Hadden coming in during 4-5 wide sets in obvious passing situations.
