They can say that but why burn the redshirt on pointless reps with 2:00 minutes in the game?Anyone else perplexed why Heup doesn't get Nico in games at the end when game is no longer in doubt?
They've already said he's not red shifting, so why not let him get in a big environment like Saturday?
Nico has played in two games so far. The only two for sure blow outs left are UConn and Vandy. And if those are the only two games he plays in he gets his redshirt.
There's a chance Bama, Kentucky, or Mizzou turn into a blowout, and if it does, you put him in. But right now it most likely looks like he will see action in four games, and if that's how it turns out you absolutely keep the redshirt. Even if that means letting Gaston Moore hand the ball off a few times at the end of the 4th quarter.
