Careful, found out real quick the feeling is about 50/50 on push to become a state or seek independence from USA. People feel like being a US territory is not all it’s cracked up to be.
Just the vibe I got talking to people. They were as nice and friendly as could be but there’s a strong National pride still, as one could expect.

If they think they have it bad now...wait until they screw themselves over by declaring independence. The tit will dry up immediately.

I have to disagree on the Born in the USA. Springsteen has a pessimistic view of our land. it starts:
