I just learned bacon in Britain is different from American bacon. Those Brits need to experience American bacon. They'd lose their minds knowing what they've been missing.

American bacon is pork belly. Canadian bacon is pork loin. British bacon is a half and half piece of part of the loin with belly on the edge.

They served it with sliced tomato and toast and eggs and it was like having BLTs for breakfast every morning.

Their best indigenous food is scones with clotted cream imo. Sometimes called a "tea cream."

One game doesn’t change it. 49ers are good. Your offense has to sustain drives to help a defense.

Lost Bland in the 2nd half. He’s probably their second best DB. The NFL is all about QB play and keeping a healthy roster.

So we are going to have to endure a week of posts about how our OL sucks and Joe sucks and everything sucks. I am not saying we should acknowledge the short comings of this particular team, but A&M has their own list of shortcomings too. They are not an unstoppable beast that will steam roll us unmercifully.

I am talking about a particular matchup which I think will determine the game. If Joe doesn't suck and consistently completes passes besides screens, and the OL doesn't suck in pass-pro and gives him time...I think we will win...if not I think it will be a loss.

That is assuming the defense plays at least pretty good....the crowd should help with that.

Really my most memorable dining experience in London, besides clotted cream and BLTs for brek, were the amazing (and back then still relatively cheap) Indian restaurants. Actually fillet of sole is a winner. (Pronounced fill-it. ) But I think the non fish-and-chips versions are French in origin. Long time ago.

I just like to try things and don't expect them to be like they are here. Pretty disappointed if they are.

How many NFL journeyman RBs does UT have in the League, right now ? None, maybe Eric Gray and Tyson Chandler, but they both transferred out. We got Kamara (definitely a Pro-Bowl player).Maybe Patterson, but he hasn't always been a RB, mostly a WR and record breaking KR.
