It’s a beautiful city with lots of history. With having family here the wife and I are actually considering moving here. We love Nashville but we want family nearby and it may just be time now that we have 2 kids under 2 years old.

I know that I have mentioned it before, but my in-laws have a place on the IOP. I love visiting. Depending on the circumstances, I would think about retiring there, but that will be quite some time.

When I was very young, the Oakland A's were good. I loved the personalities and the green and yellow uniforms. From there, I got the Raiders as my team for football. I was a Knicks fan because they had a dude with a cool name like Dave DeBusschere. The vols are a natural. I did not pick my favorite hockey team until I got a Sega Genesis and Mario Lemieux dominated. When we got cable TV when I was in the 7th or 8th grade, I fell in love with the Cubs. I changed from the Knicks to the Jazz because of Stockton and Malone.

I have always been a Vol fan when it comes to college sports. I guess I am a Cardinals fan for MLB. My dad's family is from Illinois and are all huge Cubs fans and I guess I wanted to be contrary (imagine that). I don't really care about NBA basketball, but enjoyed watching the Bulls when I was younger and Jordan and Pippen were playing. I have lost most interest in the NFL since the Titans/Oilers went full moron several years back. When I was a kid I read a book about Joe Montana and Jerry Rice and enjoyed cheering for the 49ers because of them. Nowadays, if I take the time to watch NFL football, I just enjoy watching VFLs do well. Hockey is the Preds even when they suck. Soccer is nobody gives a crap about soccer.

Yep, I've been in Dallas area 40 years, so I am:
Tennessee Vols
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Mavericks
Texas Rangers
Dallas Stars
FC Dallas
Frisco Roughriders
Dallas Wings (even though I have never watched a single game)

I arrived here a Cowboys fan and ended up rooting for all the other home teams, thick or thin and there's been a lot of thin. Bandwagon fans don't get to experience thin.

You can tell many of the teams I root for `by who was good in the 70's. Reds, Lakers, Cowboys. After living in Detroit area, Red Wings are my team (was there during their run and it was so exciting).

Vols, Bucs, Chippewas. - Really just enjoy good CFB games. Also enjoy watching Bama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Notre Dame, OSU, Michigan, lose.

NFL - just hard to find a game. When I do, its on at odd times, and usually not a fun matchup. VFLs are fun to watch.

EPL - see above, Go United

Like watching other college sports in person, baseball, football. Maryville College, Tusculum. Doesnt matter.
