Inge looks like an outstanding hire. The more I read on Sims, the more I like that hire as well. I think he can take his recruiting up a notch with the prestige of Tennessee behind him.

Hey. I just heard through the grapevine that Saban is causing problems with coaches at Bama. TIFWIW

I know someone who lives in Alabama. I heard the same thing. Saban wants the program to fail so he'll be missed. The way Saban lied to the players he recruited was prolly enough to cause chaos, without him trying to sabotage the coaches.

Again, the only reason he doesn't have a 5* on his recruiting resume is that Louisville made a coaching change. Owens even said he was waiting to see if Sims would be retained by Brohm. When he wasn't, Owens flipped to TAMU. He had the #2 ranked 5* RB committed to Louisville. I think that's a good sign of what he's capable of.

How many 5*s do Louisville & Cincinnati usually get? I wonder how his player ratings are compared to the avg those teams usually pull in.

Maybe he was just following his old coach, and hadn't heard the rumor that Saban is deliberately sabotaging the new Bama coaches. Prolly couldn't image what a dump Tuscaloosa is, either; I'm sure he'd been told, but it's worse when you see it for yourself.
