The founding is unfortunate, but the British really turned them into what they became. Specifically, a Brit in WWII that had fought in Germany. Now they are #1 or #2 in total entity sales, depending on the year.

Always loved a GTi. One of the greater sleepers ever made. My buddy used to have a Corrado too - great sleeper.
