Their LB, OL, and WR corps has been hurt. They should get some guys back, but not their WR.

I feel like Oky is gonna flex the first half and give us everything they got, keeping it close while we settle in and figure them out... I think second half, by mid to end of the 3rd, we separate and get the big win. They will be gassed by the end of the third.

While I really like Josh Pate, is it me or does he always seem to have a middle of the road take on every subject? So as to not upset anyone maybe. Can’t be critical of this coach or this player because he may want to have access to them later, etc.

Yes, he's a soft take "every team is improving" building up roster etc. Better than the click bait troll trash I guess.

He probably deserves another 4 games before we judge him, he’s not started a full season and he’s on a new coach already.

But man. Such a knucklehead. And Callahan is already so pissed at him, lol.

Yeah, I saw an interview with Peyton where he was clowning about the fact that he set an NFL record for INTs his rookie year. He said coaches should not pull rookie QBs because that's how they learn and don't make the same mistake twice. But coaching Peyton, a person is aware that he is dealing with a great football mind who learns from mistakes. Mr. Mayo Malaise, not so much. He needs better impulse control. He is never going to be a Peyton, but he can play his role and learn not to hurt his team.

Texas is getting a lot of love, mainly because of beating Michigan. Michigan = NCST IMO.

Maybe I've missed them but I've not seen one defensive line stunt. I think that's why JP hasn't gotten his sacks yet. I bet that changes this weekend.

Me either. I remember, in the secondary, Jerrod McCoy blitzing once successfully against NCSU. He was so sneaky making his way to a spot near the line of scrimmage. Btw, Boo was a very sure tackler in that game.

In the first two games I remember both teams trying to lure Pearce in and toss a little swing pass behind him, hoping he would be overly aggressive and abandon his contain; but he didn't fall for it either time.

We are 3-0 with the #2 offense and #2 defense in the country and our fans biggest complaints are that our superstars Pearce and Nico aren't producing enough stats??? Because we are dominating so much and have so much all around talent and depth that they haven't needed to or had the opportunity to take over games because they get benched by halftime. We're in a whole new era.

To me, it’s Nico’s awareness and speed of reads. He missed a wide open Bru on the first or second drive. Tried to force a couple passes that woulda been picked off by better DB’s. Didn’t matter, but it could in a big game. His skill level is sky high, but he still hasn’t put it all together yet. He makes up for it by insane accuracy on long throws.

He's not Hendo ‘22 yet. It’s coming tho. When it does, we’re gonna be unstoppable.
