Paul Finebaum is a buffoon...he is on here saying the price increase "Is going to give straight to NIL"...I understand some of us dummies not knowing this is for direct pay from the school due to the revenue sharing decision, but this dude is supposed to be a legitimate sports journalist.

Do you remember when we won the CWS and Morgan Wallen skipped the "on the field" celebration but promised to make it up to Knoxville. He later went on to announce he was doing a concert, in Neyland Stadium, during football season. Oh the best part was that tickets were starting out at $100 each, because he loved the fans and UT so much. He's even having 2 shows to make sure everyone knows how much he loves the VOLS and how sorry he was for not high fiving Christian Moore after the game. Well, this is the week. Enjoy

That said, look at the coaches and admin first. Based on revenues, they don't deserve their levels of compensation. They've been artificially inflated for decades DUE TO not having to pay players. It was always BS. Just like nurses...it isn't about how hard you work or your contribution to society...in capitalism it's about your market worth. And theirs is artificial...

The thing that worries me. . . because I'm a Tennessee fan. . . Is OU's QB running. He's got some legs. I hope our ends keep him inside and let our LBs destroy him if he decides to run. That is the one bucket list thing, well one of two including snow skiing, that I will never get to do now thanks to my destroyed knees.

Absolutely do it. And sooner than later. I've heard there are some around the Smokies and Blue Ridge.

We, as a small immediate family, only pushed ourselves to do it because my dad had just passed. We went just south of Santa Barbara, could see the Pacific for miles on the way down. Once in a lifetime experience. I'll never do it again, but it was 110% worth it.

Random thought: Even though I grew up primarily in the 1970s and watched tons and tons and tons of Bugs Bunny, I was waaaay into adulthood before it occurred to me that that character was a parody of Lennie from Of Mice And Men.

I don't know about him being racist. I think he's just kind of dumb and likes to party too hard. And I agree, saying the n word is wrong and should not be said by anyone. But, I'll admit, some of those rap songs are catchy. You just have to be extra careful if you're white and want to sing them. You can lose everything, especially if someone catches you on video repeating Wu-Tang or NWA songs.
