I've spoken to the higher ups. They're willing to forgive anyone who didnt believe in Banks and allow you to cheer for his defense now, no questions asked.

Oh it 100% was the plan, he was taking what the defense was giving him. And going ultra conservative doesn’t work out well in CFB. We’ve seen it a million times of teams getting their back blown out for 55 minutes just to comeback in the final few minutes. OU was one 2 point conversion from making it a 1 score game with 3 timeouts left

There was 4 straight drives in the 2nd half where we couldn’t sustain a drive and it kept them in it. We were clearly the much better team with much better coaching. But in this sport you gotta put teams away when the opportunity presents itself

On the road, at night. Game day is in town. Ton of hype coming in. Too many times we walked into a game like this only to crumble.

We weren’t perfect by any means and lots of good learning opportunities for a hungry team but imagine knowing that and still seeing a win by two scores that felt dominate.

If our defense was that dominant against Bama, then yes. He doesn’t care how; he just wants to win. This thinking is ridiculous to me. You assess your situation and make calls to win a game. It’s about probabilities. Our football coach knows what he’s doing.

If we need to score more, then he will be more aggressive. Quite simple.

We have a defense now, they don't all have to be offensive masterpieces.

I think the slick footing had as much to do with it as their defense honestly. Just looking at highlights of Auburns game you can see the difference.

They look different. I haven t seen guys on the back end willing to knock your brains out like that in a while. Thomas or McCoy reminded me of how inky used to whack people.

Never expected to add to my ignore list after a huge win like that.

With the state of the field and us being in a tough spot with our OTs vs an aggressive defense, you 100% play it safe. Especially when they couldn’t do anything against our defense till we got deeper into our DL rotation.
