To Nico’s defense on the last play, I just think he didnt realize the clock was out and was trying to get a 1st for 1 more play. Hes a freshman and will make mistakes, and that is the difference between Nico and Milton, who was in his 4th year of cfb when he did that
Meh. I think running was his only option, the OL held up for a while but no one got open. He went out when he realized he couldn't get what we needed. That's all. WRs weren't great tonight and to add to it Nico didn't always see them. Our interior OL is a problem *BUT* our playcalling stressed that OL past the point of breaking. You can't repeatedly refuse to throw unless it's 3rd and long, especially not when your running game was going nowhere early on.
