Thorton looks like he’s on the cusp just doesn’t get enough targets. Besides him, not so far smh.

Exactly , bringing in more guys that aren’t better taking away opportunities wasn’t helpful, it would appear.

He was of because he couldn't trust the o line and play calling to keep him clean. He's a young QB who was afforded no favors from coaching or o line tonight. He was set up to fail.

The Arkansas coaching staff saw the deficiencies and seized on it all night. I saw those same issues over the last three weeks.

He thought he could have it for another play and was very close. There wasn't a good play to be made on that that last one. The issue is coaching and o line..... There wasn't a QB on roster that could have done better.

Quit blaming the the young inexperienced QB and blame the experienced units that failed him all night.


Or blame the QB if you want..... Just be prepared to never get a decent one again.

So now you are changing your tune and saying there wasn't a "good" play to be made when you've been saying there wasn't a play to be made at all..... sounds like there was a play to be had that didnt involve runningout of bounds...glad we are on the same page now.

I agree the oline and coaching staff did him no favors but he was indecisive with the ball tonight and it showed throughout the game and on the last play.

I'm sorry but he is a starting QB w/ an 8 mill price tag. That will always have performance expectations.... one of those being not running out of bounds on the last play of the game. Something Joe was crucified for. To say he can't be criticized is idiotic

Sure he is young and there will be growing pains. He's not s 25yr old Hendon Hooker with a lot of ball experience under his belt.

@Smokey123 Basillio is talking about the 3-3 from some info he got from a friend..... Heup has struggled with this defense since he was at UCF Tulsa used to give him fits. The problem is tackle pulls.

What’s Brazzell done the last 2? Not much 3 catches. We already had guys that could do that

If you want to call NC State and OU high school teams, then whatever. Kitselman has surpassed already what he did at Bama. He’s got some talent. Let’s just say that the transfers that Heupel has brought in are not the problem. There have been a bunch of contributors in his 4 years.

Also think we need to get Matthews involved more. He’s an athletic freak. Even if he doesn’t fully get the offense yet, just design a few plays a game for him and let him do his thing. Anything to get this offense going. If Bama can trot out a 17 year old then we can get our young guy some plays.

Again, they had plenty of opportunities. They went for it on 4th instead of points and missed a fg. We were lucky not to have been run out. He failed miserably on the last drive.

Yea they should have scored a lot more points. But they didn’t. They scored 19. And We lost because our offense was the worst I’ve seen since Pruitt was walking around with a scarf over his face

Yes, #10 on the bench has showed more wiggle in 2 catches than anyone else all season.

Hooker could read the defenses and make the adjustments on his own without getting calls from the sidelines.

Milton and Nico were not afforded that same ability.

Yeah and he didn’t have that option.

Oh would you look at that. Like I’ve been saying, teams are running a different defense in order to stop our offense. We have to adjust and until then we’ll continue to struggle

I don’t under stand how a team can put 3 lineman up against our oline and be successful. We should be running the ball for 7 yards a carry against that front. Embarrassing.

Hey man….I’ve been a big fan of his since last years spring game…he’s the only guy that’s familiar with Josh’s offense and runs it at the tempo it needs to be keeping the defense off balanced and gassed…sign me up if you go back and watch the spring game…tempo was way way different
