I fully expect us to play pissed and dominate next week. I do. Bru and Sampson are too good of leaders.

If they were that good of leaders you don’t lay an egg after a bye week to a team who had no business being in the game.

That game is fail of epic proportions, by everyone. Starts with the offensive play calling that was absolutely abysmal, then moves to offensive line play, and further to the qb.

We get absolutely zero push on most running plays, which could be due to running the same play on 50% of running calls.

The three things that just absolutely piss me off from the game.

1. Not catching the punt at the 45 and costing ourselves 25 yards of field position.

2. Sitting back on defense when a freshman who hasn’t played goes into the game at qb. Attack and make him play fast, mistakes will be made.

3. Lack of aggression in all facets of the game, just terrible and represents a Phil coached game.

This should of been a 20+ point beat down.

3-3-5 or 3-2-6 is our kryptonite. Better figure it out bc we are going to see only that moving forward IMO.

It’s also doesn’t help that our o line struggles to block 3 in pass pro at times. We have the same two coach upgrades needed - o line and secondary. The beginning of the season just masked those two needs yet again.

Issue I see is coaching, and regressing week to week.

Arkansas isnt good. No one can convince me otherwise.

What happened to the offense? An offense isnt running up the gut and playing not to lose. I like Huepel, and want him to succeed.

There is no doubt we WILL lose several more games if offense plays like that, and frankly defense too.

Exactly, individuals actually believe standing on the sidelines and taking reps in practice last year that Nico should be Pat MaHomes or Peyton Manning this year.

Nico struggled in his first stressful situation when game was close, it happens to the best of them.

He didn’t play that well against OU or NCSU either

True; I should’ve said the passing offense hasn’t looked right. Two bad INTs in that game. The running attack carried the O that night, as well as turnovers generated by the defense.

We did run the ball man. Except for that last series. It was 3-4 yards, up the gut. 5-6 yards, up gut, procedure call. 3rd and 8, 3rd and 11. You cannot put your team in that position.

Absolutely zero gameplan, zero creativity on offense, and zero execution. OL was dogshit. WR depth, which is good. Got zero separation. Shame. Just pathetic.

When you get OUTCOACHED by Sam Pittman? I mean come on. That's a joke.

And again if the league is going to operate as a pay for play league, they can expect all of the heat. Getting tickets to UT games are absurd right now and losing in such a pathetic way only makes the ire even larger.

Dude it’s ridiculous. I love the Vols and I’m wanting to take my oldest daughter to her first ever game because that’s what my dad and I did every year as a bonding moment. But unless you’re making $100k+ a year, you just can’t afford tickets. It’s outrageous!

Just surprised how the game ended. We hit them square in the mouth start of the 2nd half. They weathered the storm . Good adjustment coming out of half time. Just think we needed more adjustments in the 1st half. Disappointed but these guys and coaches have got to learn a lot from their mistakes. Bama going down helps the pain a little. If Arky kicks FG's in the first half instead of going for it on 4th down several times - they beat us by two scores. We had tremendous 4th down effort on D.

They played better than us as a team. We have the better overall talent. But we had one guy blow his responsibility on both sides of the ball too many times to win the game. We had dumb play calling frequently. Nico's inexperience showed frequently. All stuff that needs cleaned up.

It is still all there for the taking. Just need to execute well and win as a team. This season every team in CFB is obviously flawed so it will be about playing well enough to get in and how you finish.

Yep, Arky came out wanting to play, while TN came out thinking they were still on the bye week.

All true. And Green made some throws he hadn't at any point in his career. Some may say McCoy got abused, but those throws were NFL caliber. Only happens to us it seems. Oh and Arkansas had been a turnover machine, yet they played clean for the first time all season. **** happens. If we see the same effort next week, I'll start to worry.
