We stomped lsu at Death Valley. If we want to win championships with Heupel, he has to start winning on the road, and we cant do that consistently. The only away games we have won under Heupel not named Kentucky and Vanderbilt are at mizzou in ‘21 and OU this year, a game in which we were bad offensively. We have to figure it out
I mean the refs blew dead the would be fumble for a TD. Obvious fumble at that. All true. And Green made some throws he hadn't at any point in his career. Some may say McCoy got abused, but those throws were NFL caliber. Only happens to us it seems. Oh and Arkansas had been a turnover machine, yet they played clean for the first time all season. **** happens. If we see the same effort next week, I'll start to worry.
Couldn’t have said this better myself.Slept on it. Cooled down. Still landing on the fact that I’m starting to doubt Heupel. Two games in a row this offense has been utter butt slaw. I think Heupel was just laying some coach speech about pulling it back a tad vs OU. Heupel knows he’s hamstrung offensively with a weak arse OL and a QB that is starting to look like he has stage fright, which tbh is a coaching travesty at this point.
I see 3 straight Ls incoming and then a thrashing by UGA to finish with 4 losses. I wouldn’t be surprised to see UK or Candy play us close either. We are not good at all offensively.
If Heupel doesn’t beat UF and beat one of Bama/UGA to finish 10-2 he’s gonna start draining some of that good will he’s built up. Compound that with DW unveiling ticket increases a tad bit premature and you may start to see the wheels fall off of this thing from a fan support perspective. There ain’t no way those increases are going to sustain if this is the product laid out before us when it’s the deepest, most talented team Heupel has ever had. I think OU was fools gold. I think the Arky game is who we actually are unfortunately.
You should never attempt a blocked punt when the opposing team has less than 5 yards needed for a first down.Said it last night to my family, still think the same this morning.
Trying to block the punt and running into the punter changed the momentum back in their favor and we never got it back. So stupid to even take a chance of that happening
Man this puts things into perspective. So sorry, Devo. Dr. Squatch makes Body wipes for men. I’d probably use that for your body. Then use what fresh water you have for scrubbing your face and hair. This is such a specific question, it's hard to search for Amazon and maybe I need to fabricate something if possible.
So - being without water foreseeably for the next month, if not months, I need to tap into the moran braintrust for a moment.
Showering - I was thinking of buying something similar to a camping "portable shower" but not sure if it would fit into my actual shower. Any ideas how to accomplish a manually fed showerhead inside my shower?
Washing Clothes - Thinking of just having a large bucket of water with detergent and swishing the clothes and letting them soak. Then rinsing in a clean bucket. May have to do this on the ground/in the grass for all the runoff. Then have a balcony where I could hang them. Thoughts or better ideas?
He was nominated for the Broyles award before Heupel, so you answered your own question. UCF broke a record in rushing yards just like he’s essentially done at UT.Did his unit break records or did just the offense? Did he develop Darnell Wright or was Wright just a 5* going into his junior year and made him look good? Everything about Elarbee’s bio and successes is off of players who were already elite and he just happened to inherit them at his next stop. His best unit was in 2018. His first year at UCF (hmmmm pattern?) and they still gave up NINETEEN sacks. I’ve seen bad Tennessee teams give up literally half of that.
Elarbee was nominated for a Broyles award nearly 10 years ago. But he wasn’t close to being a finalist in 2016. Digging into that nomination, and what would you know? His line was anchored by three seniors that year! And no, he didn’t develop them, either. It was just first year in that role too. Look at the consistent pattern that’s been built… over multiple stops. Elarbee takes over, immediate success with other people’s athletes. And then a steady regression year over year.
Does being nominated for an award pre-season give him a pass for multiple bad OL groups? Sure, recruiting is better. But now that he has to develop them, there’s been some glaring issues. And his track record suggests that it won’t improve.
