We’re in a new era of cfb. Plenty of young guys come in and dominate immediately. We’re past the days of waiting for year 3 for contributionOnly from the people paying his NIL, which is not us. If he were the only qb in the country on an NIL, yes, you could have higher than previous expectations for him. But now that NIL is tables takes for starting qb, you can't just change your expectations for RS freshman qb because they're all getting paid. That doesn't make them all of a sudden able to avoid young qb struggles.
Exactly. I look at it like any business with shareholders. We have a vested interest and have every right to expect results. Obviously those who donate more have more of a say. That's false. When fans are donating to fill the NIL coffers, we are paying his NIL
Poor Rick Barnes somewhere out there going, “how is this about me?”That’s not what your argument was though. You’ve pivoted now that he has a SS and EE in back to back years. Several on here who get confronted with facts with their argument and spin it another way just to try to be correct.
and where is the motion, particularly since they aren’t really using temp anyway?CJH needs to help Nico.
Run up the middle/counter
WR screen
Deep routes that take too long to develop
Occasional short pass to Bru
Where are the slants or quick routes to get a few yards.
This game and the OU game were hard to watch.
I think maybe you’re onto something here.I already put Nick on notice that he had better have the Florida game thread up by midnight tomorrow night, or I will have it up by Tuesday morning. I am most certain the bad mojo the last two games is because he posted the game thread way too late in the week.
It also helps when they don't call clear, textbook targeting on you after review in the next-to-last drive. The Cal quarterback didn't fully lose consciousness after he was hit in the earhole, but there was subtle flexor posturing after he hit the ground. He was just this side of being knocked out. That was the difference in the game, and it was egregious. Miami definitely turned it up a notch late and Cal started to look more like I expected Cal to look, but that game swung on the targeting call.Of course Miami came back and won, could never be us.
That’s how you coach when you’re down
Heck no. A college football game against an FCS opponent should never cost more than $30. UTC game this year was $70+. Now they want “10%” more per ticket. I’ll sit at home doing something else with my kids before I pay those prices and I make more yearly than the amount another poster posted earlier. So we all gonna pay the 10% increase?
YEP!This loss is also on you orange britches people. We always play better (and look better) in road games with stormtroopers. Just saying. Burn the orange pants already lol
