He actually did get injured the second time lol, he got lit up. But we hadn't tried to rush to the LOS to go fast on that play.

I’m not sure why those are the only plays you remember but I recall plenty of times where Nico was in the pocket and either no one was open or he didn’t trust what he was seeing.

Ewers wasn't that good his first year and he wasn't even in the SEC. Bama QB's historically had a massive talent advantage around them.

So rogers and Manziel are the only 2 who are in a similar situation and came out balling. 2 out of how many who didn't come out balling in their first half season? It's definitely not the norm, and adding money to the equation doesn't all of a sudden make it where new young QB's won't struggle early on. We all hoped we had gotten one of the rare few like Rogers or Manziel, but we didn't. Paying money doesn't change the fact that they usually struggle.

Are you sure those plays you recall are not the one of the other plays where the WR runs a 5 -10 yard slant to Squirrel?

Ewers beat Bama in Ttown his 2nd season and had over 300 yards and 3 Td’s

Neither one of those QB's were during NIL era. That was the conversation paying players should produce quick results according to some individuals. No Freshmen QB has dominated the SEC at home or the Road since Pay for play began.

Staying with my sister in law…..I’m watching pretty closely.
Might leave tomorrow afternoon and get to Atlanta.

Folks in Asheville used to gather rainwaternin downspouts. In part due to waternrunoff tax, other in part bc of old inftastructure.

There has to be a way to engineer from yon to yon, sump pump? I know people out West kept drought reservoirs, for this very thing.

Same reason for backup gennies.

We do water purifiers on our boats. Strainer, pump, sediment filter, carbon filter, UV sterilizer. Obviously one needs power. Probably around $1,000 for the parts.
