Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I really don't think they were an issue as much as Nico and the OL. Guys were open a lot, Nico missed them with his eyes or his throws or he had no time to get the ball out.
Don’t disagree that the OL set us up for failure but they haven’t made a play all year.

Doubt it. That would legitimize storming the field and the SEC doesn't want that
Great point. In fact, Omari was shouldered by the fan and he and others were shouted at by that fan who had an easy alley to get to the playing field. He chose instead to get in the face of multiple players and also a smaller white-haired assistant in team attire (orange jacket). The girl who fell when the belligerent fan was finally removed forcefully (since words and directions from multiple players and staff had no effect on him) had herself exited with ease (as had two other fans, at least) through that same place on the field where none of them belonged. To enter in the middle of our team at our tunnel was itself a deliberate provocation. Anyway she was where she was because, having safely walked right out, she went straight back into the Vols team exiting to the tunnel. She apparently did that in order to try to get that belligerent guy, who was finally shoved out of the way (the elderly staff member was having some trouble moving him), to stop getting in players faces and to come with her to the field. Supposedly they were rushing the field, remember. The belligerent fan is the one who should be charged, if anyone is. The entire rest of the stadium wall was open and available for field rushing for anyone who wanted to rush the field instead of get in the face of players and taunt team.

I dont remember who it was, but there was a basketball team that had police line the court and let the loser off and kept a barrier between them and the team last year. They need to try and do that for football.

This is such a specific question, it's hard to search for Amazon and maybe I need to fabricate something if possible.

So - being without water foreseeably for the next month, if not months, I need to tap into the moran braintrust for a moment.

Showering - I was thinking of buying something similar to a camping "portable shower" but not sure if it would fit into my actual shower. Any ideas how to accomplish a manually fed showerhead inside my shower?

Washing Clothes - Thinking of just having a large bucket of water with detergent and swishing the clothes and letting them soak. Then rinsing in a clean bucket. May have to do this on the ground/in the grass for all the runoff. Then have a balcony where I could hang them. Thoughts or better ideas?
One thing about keeping standing water make sure its enclosed

I’ve explained it before. I lurk and post occasionally but you guys only have a seizure and start quoting everything I say when it’s something negative. That turns in to back and fourths which of course leads to more posts.
You just validated the "troll" allegations.

You lurk and hardly post, then during a loss you pop up to make negative remarks, which gets other posters going, and you engage by arguing with them.

That's what trolls do...

So we all gonna pay the 10% increase?
I did but the thought has crossed my mind to just stop all donations and use the money for something else. Getting old and tired and this is the second time they have come out with a price increase early in the season after a big win. Florida at home two years ago and Okie this year. I said they better win and win a lot or they will not have a waiting list or full stadium for long. Last night is tough and Nico is catching a lot of heat and he gets paid very well. That is up the rub. You make people pay, the patience is not going to be there without results. I am going to see Florida and Bama the next two weekends and I am hoping to have a great time and see two wins so I can feel better about the money I am giving.

I'm glad no one is blaming any of it on the holding every single play or the obvious pass interference no-calls, especially late in the game.
I’ve become resigned to the reality that, somehow, no one who covers college football finds it odd that a defensive line that is ubiquitously recognized as a top-5 unit never gets held by the opposing offensive linemen.

No. I said I post occasionally. I posted during and after every game this year. You all just see me as the final boss of negativity so after a loss I’m public enemy #1. I haven’t even been negative after this loss compared to others. It’s just a reputation you’re attacking. It’s insane. But it’s at least entertaining.

This..... We hadnt had enough success for all the price increases.
Baseball is honestly the only one that can justify it in my opinion.

Lots of blame to go around particularly on the offense. This is a week where manhood needs to get challenged and we need to come out inspired and with our hair on fire for the home crowd. These next two weeks are crucial. Reset and go play free. Time to get back to being the aggressor. Wasn’t long ago we were saying Heupel was going to be our Spurrier. Where’d that go?

Here is another trend I am seeing, in addition to poor play and coaching scared in away games… we lose our cool way too easy and let the opposition get under our skin that results in stupid penalties and doing stupid things. Just like what Omar did shoving that fan… That is losing your cool under pressure. We are extremely undisciplined, and that shows up a lot in the procedure penalties we have, as well as the personal foul and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
WE ARE VERY UNDISCIPLINED AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY AND IS THE MAIN THING THAT I HATE ABOUT CJH'S TEAMS.

There were a few state troopers there trying to get the taunting fans lowering themselves into the midst of our team away from the team. Everyone in the video except for that one belligerent fan walked right through the team with no issue. The players and coaches ignored the implicit taunt. Well, there was a second fan who entered from the direction away from our team and -- instead of joining the celebration forming on the field -- made a bee-line for our team in the tiny corner. He rushed past a trooper there who was making a border between the wide open field for celebration and the tiny space where our team was approaching the exit tunnel. He got right up in the side of the face of one of our players, shouting something at him. But he then ran away, having delivered his taunting. The everyone is talking about, on the other hand, entered right into the middle of our team (when the entire remainder of the field wall was open and inviting) and went from player to player (and even to an older white-haired Vols staff member of some sort, finally) taunting.

More security at the exit tunnel is a good idea. I don't ever recall fans deliberately lowering themselves into the midst of a team at the exit tunnel. Try that at a concert or political event and see who gets charged.

I wouldn't say final boss, there's worse. Sometimes I find myself agreeing with you on some takes, but I'm just saying this is why you get so much flack.

I get the reasoning. I was very bad when I was a teenager on here, into my early 20s. I think it’s unwarranted in the past few years but oh well. Several have told me to just make a new account but it’s more fun this way in some aspects.
