We had a VN copperhead post before the UF game again. @TN-POSSUM cry-babied around claiming the wasn't a "true" VN copperhead, because he had a few posts already. However, it seemed to be just enough juice to push the Vols to a win over Florida.

The Vols remain undefeated when a VolNation member who has never posted, or posted very little, makes a comment in here.

We're gonna need someone to step up and make their first post to insure a win over Bama!

I really think that will catch a lot of defenses off guard.

The thing I am most impressed by and will set the tone for the rest of the year is not settling for a FG in overtime.

They could have easily taken 3 knees and kicked.

Instead they drove it down their throats and mixed run and pass.

That was aggressive and tone setting.

The team responded.

This has not been talked about enough . This and going for it on 4th down at our own 11

I really don’t understand the fascination with rankings. I think it is a way for people who really don’t understand what’s going on to interface and understand the game. Rankings at this point in the season are meaningless and a media construct. Wait til November.

After watching the film I don’t think the o-line played that bad, much better than the last two games. I think Heard is not 100%. That game could have been a blowout, a few things different.

Heard laid a hell of a block on a safety or LB on that second Sampson TD. Think the injury may have been in his head. Hard to trust your body coming back sometimes. Definitely think we found some ways to roll the pocket and throw in a few wrinkles that second half.
