I read about this on Twitter
There were two people on paddle boards there that are supposed to assist, but I guess they didn't see him they were behind him a little ways.

What makes it sadder, the guys team was watching from the shore and when he went down one of them jumped in the water to try and save him.

Oh there were. It is a bad situation overall. At the same time no one expects these extremely fit people to have a heart attack and drown. Games rely on volunteers to help with events, seems like the preparedness level was not good enough. Every bad situation just wasn’t prepared for. It sucks

Do you not realize the situation that Martinez inherited when he arrived? He had to turn that entire DB roster around. Pass defense can take a while to build to especially when it's from the ground up. His results will start to show this season. Its called coaching lol. People act like things are supposed to happen overnight. Defense is not offense. Completely different breed

All I said was that I wasn’t relying on that to make financial decisions for my family. I started life insurance policies before I was 30 years old, so they weren’t expensive. Once again, a policy that just pays off the house isn’t enough.

Yes...but the outcome and the circumstances would have been a lot different imo...I'm not brilliant, but I have really gotten into the gears of that era over the last few years.
