You go down UT's schedule and see a loss to (at best, for our second loss) UGA--not horrible. Then you see that Arkie loss. They look horrible! Beat UT and lost by 700 to that other 10-2 team, Ole Miss. How can we justify putting UT in over them? Oh! Did you see who they beat? A weak Alabama and... NCSU? KY? Vandy?

There is nothing ignorant about that logic. It's well thought out and based on facts.

Ole Miss lost at home to a bad UK team...whom we will beat by 21+ tonight.
Ole Miss also hasn't beaten a single ranked team all year....but that doesn't fit your narrative does it?

Sure it does. They should be just as nervous to be at 10-2. That's the point!

You guys act like we're predicting that the Vols WILL be left out, and hoping we are. That's stupid.

We're saying that a 10-2 UT with one of those losses being to a BAD ARK team, instead of losses against BAMA and UGA, doesn't look nearly as playoff bulletproof as we thought it would before the season started.

Interpretation: Losses to ARK and UGA < Losses to Bama and UGA. Especially when other conferences are threatening to crowd.

Really, @nicksjuzunk seems to be a really great guy and I always enjoyed his game previews and his other posts. But if he is too busy to write the thread intro, he really needs to give the board a heads up in a timely manner. It's irresponsible to want to keep the task and then neither to perform the task or to let the board know that he can't do it any given week. I'm disappointed. I hope he's ok.

The board isnt entitled to a game-day thread. Why don't you both take a lap. Why not try being appreciative of his efforts. Besides, the more he does, less we or @Glitch will be starting threads.

Now you ladies loosen up your Yoga pants, pour a glass of Rieseling, and get back to discussing who done did hwat on the Gram.
