Yes they make it subjective and try to predict the future. That's literally their stated purpose. They try to predict the best 4 teams. They had the bcs which was much more objective, but they didn't like, so they moved away from it to a committee model where humans try to predict the best 4 current teams instead of the 4 teams that had the best seasons. How are you surprised by this? But Joe Milton wasn’t a regular backup and then beat Clemson. So, they make it subjective and think they can predict the future? That’s what you are saying. Again, it’s about ratings more than anything else.
I want to see the rest of it...that's all. And once again I will ask..how would you have subdued the guy? He was not complying...would you have just left him to keep doing whatever mischief that started this while mess?Cmon man we’ve been over this. Your son in law is a great person and a police officer.
This dude is tasing and beating an unarmed inebriated civilian with his metal handcuffs, sitting on top of and repeatedly throwing haymakers to the face. They’re not just trying to make them comply, and they’re lucky they didn’t kill one of these fans.
CFP panel might think exactly like this and they have every reason toIt's kind of funny the benefit of the doubt Texas gets during these early playoff discussions. What's their best win? 3 point road win against Vandy? Is getting blown out at home by UGA good enough to guarantee your spot in the playoffs?
You ever tried to subdue a drunk redneck that doesn't want to be subdued? I've been in way worse fights than those guys and cops were nowhere around or part of it...and I guarantee you those folks got off light compared to some of the total beatdowns I've seen inflicted on inebriated big mouthed fools that started with the wrong people. Two cops can cuff a person without beating them senseless first.
I like the kids and hope he stays. I don’t question his skillset and abilities. Not knocking for saying he’s injury-prone. Just the truth.I mean technically you are knocking him by speculating about his possible departure in which there has been no reason given he will or not other than injuries which happens a lot in football.
He definitely could go and has every right if that is what he wants to do, but I’m not sure it’s right of us to act like we are not “knocking” him when we are speculating about him.
Holding his arm was the least of it, he freaking ran him over.I know the refs screwed us majorly on his deep ball where even the announcers commented how the defender had a hold of his arm the entire time so he could only try and catch it with one hand, two refs watching, yet no call. You can't make this up.
We did that and they'd call holding, illegal formation, illegal touching, personal foul, and false start all for the one play.
Totally agree with you, shocker isn't it?You ever tried to subdue a drunk redneck that doesn't want to be subdued? I've been in way worse fights than those guys and cops were nowhere around or part of it...and I guarantee you those folks got off light compared to some of the total beatdowns I've seen inflicted on inebriated big mouthed fools that started with the wrong people.
Hope they get sued to oblivion. Maybe these dudes were “non-compliant” but they certainly don’t look violent. Beatings appear uncalled for. And shooting a taser gun in the middle of a crowd of people? What the hell.
Win-win either way, but I have to say I wanna bye and be the SEC champion, and it’s not close! This is not being talked about enough. A HOME PLAYOFF GAME IN NEYLAND.
What if we win out the regular season and lose the SEC championship. Then I think we’d be in the 5-8 seed.
What would you rather have: a SEC Champion and 1st round bye; or, SEC runner up , and a first round Home game.
It’s kinda weird to say, but I’d like that Home Playoff game. Would be the most electric crowd ever.
Need our opp to be as high as ranked as possible seeming as Bama is our lone quality win to date.Question:
Would you rather Ole Miss beat UGA this weekend and then play us with 2 losses and probably ranked 7th or 8th (behind us) or would you rather we play a UGA team that beats Ole Miss and stays ranked at No. 2?
