Would you rather Ole Miss beat UGA this weekend and then play us with 2 losses and probably ranked 7th or 8th (behind us) or would you rather we play a UGA team that beats Ole Miss and stays ranked at No. 2?

UGa beats ole miss and they’re out of the conversation. If ole miss wins out and we lose to Georgia then that’s another team in the 10-2 conversation

Rather UGA be #2. IMO we need every ounce of goodness from another quality win to offset the Arky loss. I still think there is a media bias with us and 2 losses will be just enough to give them an excuse to leave us out of a playoff. It would be different if we were OSU, ND, etc...

That’s one loss. But we weren’t comparing us to USC.

Bama beat a 8-4 Texas, 8-4 Ole Miss, and 8-4 Mississippi State. Lost to us and LSU.

We beat a 8-4 Pitt, 9-4 LSU (who beat Bama and went to the SECG), 7-5 UK. We beat 6 bowl teams. We not only beat Bama but beat the other team who beat Bama by 27. Yet our loss to USC hurt us?

So, if it’s comparable, they throw out head to head? Nonsense. They pick and choose.

What people don't realize is that the playoff committee was a construct to allow for control by the networks. Why didn't they just take the 4 best teams according to the BCS model, it got it right 99 percent of the time. The committee allows for manipulation of match ups, creation of storylines, and to give the media something to fill space. Basketball has been doing this for decades.
It is a total media construct. What do you think the ratings for the reveal show will be tomorrow? Endless media space is filled all season about "who's in." A team has to make it too embarrassing for the committee to leave them out. I was shocked that automatic bids were part of it, They were a bone for the ACC and Big 12 so they would play along. I think those will soon be gone.
Don't waste you time debating it. The media will create a consensus that everyone can come to, even people on the committee who know jack squat about football.

This is not being talked about enough. A HOME PLAYOFF GAME IN NEYLAND.

What if we win out the regular season and lose the SEC championship. Then I think we’d be in the 5-8 seed.

What would you rather have: a SEC Champion and 1st round bye; or, SEC runner up , and a first round Home game.

It’s kinda weird to say, but I’d like that Home Playoff game. Would be the most electric crowd ever.

I want the easiest path to a natty.

Because every time we actually do that and get moving, some jackass fakes an injury and kills the momentum. So it's arguably worse for us because it makes the offense all herky jerky.

That is really a way of getting personnel changes made when we get to the line quickly. Even if we sit on the ball for 20 sec, if they try to sub we just snap it and get 5 free yards.

He did get hurt. That's why Lewis finished the 2nd quarter.
After half he came back out in uniform but never re entered the game.

That was the best of several NFL throws Nico made, it was Mahomes like. He threw perfectly in to some really tight windows Saturday, there are NFL qbs that couldn't make those throws. Lamar says hi.

The people who are really getting assaulted at the game in Jacksonville every year are the Georgia and Florida season ticket holders. They get screwed out of a premier game every other year.
