Any person, or nut willing to be near or around coaches, bartender, friend of a friend. Could easily take to SM and guess.Ehhhh, if you stick a postage stamp to a wall then shoot at it with a shotgun from a distance, you may find a hole in the stamp when you go look but you can't really say, "I nailed it!"
Well, I wasn’t going to say anything but...... my uncle said he saw Mike Keith at the Ingles on Emory Rd around noon yesterday. He said Mike was buying a rotisserie chicken, a half loaf of bread, and a pack of American cheese. I thought it sounded weird at the time, but after Kesling's announcement today, it all makes perfect sense. Mike Keith will be the next "Voice of the VOLS" and was in town to negotiate the contract.Mike Keith ain’t leaving the Titans.
It’s not going to happen…….
This will be like the “Grumors”

I don't care about any of those qualities as much as I care about his ability. I care about how well he does the job, describing what's happening in such a way that people listening can visualize all the details in their mind. That's the most important thing and the thing Kesling is not good at.POSSUM THOUGHTS: with @TN-POSSUM
So riding home from work today, I was listening to WNML 99.1. Normally I don't agree with much of what Tyler Ivens and Will West say, but today they sold me on John Wilkerson taking over for Kesling. Their main point, was that JW is already beloved by UT and the fans that tune in for his baseball call.
He also has 3 qualities that I personally want to hear in the "Voice of the VOLS". He's got passion for the University, he's extremely likeable, and he has a great distinguishable voice.
His age got brought up earlier and I couldn't find how old he is. He did graduate from UT in 1988. So he's maybe 60??? . (I'm behind some pages, so someone might have posted it).
After thinking a little more about it, John Wilkerson really is the perfect choice.
