They let Elliot go two years and had Pollard for a year without him. Then, they didn’t trade Pollard- they just didn’t re-sign him. They didn’t want to pay him and thought he’d lost a step after his injury. They brought back Elliott this year when they needed help. They didn’t have the money to sign someone like Henry.

Unless something changes, I do not expect Cam to come back. No inside knowledge. Hope I am wrong but the learning curve at RB and missed time is making it tough and half his eligibility is about gone. Hope he stays.

I hope he stays, but how would transferring help the situation, unless he went to a small school? He transfers and he'll have to learn that playbook and offense, along with competition and bonding with the new team, so basically starting over again... I think his best bet overall is to stay...

Eh, that didn’t work out, but the Cowboys have drafted really well over the last decade. All of the guys they’ve paid big money are all their own picks. Pollard was, too.

Dak was a great 4th round pick, but he and the defense have struggled in the playoffs. This year, they have been injured across the board.
