for some reason the national narrative is against us and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it’s no bc we beat the ncaa like they stole something in court and in front of the public and they have said to push the agenda against Tennessee

We are one of the top 8 teams in the country and win or lose deserve to be in

Right now it feels like we are back in the old days of national champion selected by the press.

I figured out late last night that was what was emotionally funding a lot of freak out.

We are not getting in without beating Georgia.

As much as I hate to say it this guy is not wrong in the slightest. Bama will 100% get in over us if we lose this weekend and there’s no doubt about it because we don’t receive any love by most members of the media (No hype) and we don’t play high octane offensive football that wins the minds of the committee (No respect) because we’re winning with a dominant defense.

This is a playoff elimination game and everyone knows it. This might be the biggest regular season game in the Josh Heupel era in terms of ramifications. Win this weekend and everyone will shut up about downplaying our success and CJH can finally get the “No Big Road Wins” monkey off his back.

I'll continue to be the harbinger of doom, but the morons that run the conferences are gonna get someone hurt. They keep telling everyone to put their head back in the sand and fall back in line with their corruption and lack of accountability. It's obvious the Emperor has no clothes. The bias, inconsistency & incompetence are rampantly on display.

The current culture isn't one that's going to give any sort of "authority" a pass, and these clowns are thumbing their nose at reality and basically daring anyone to stand up to them. When the 💩 hits the fan, the blood (literal or figurative) is going to be on their hands.

This is the first year since the 2020 Covid season they've failed to be outside the top 10 in both categories.

Both seasons where Kirby's team didn't finish top 10 in at least one of those categories they only won 8 games.

They are not the same on the OL or in the interior DL at all. Also the secondary is the biggest issue this yr but they usually take away heups pass game better than anyone so maybe itll be different who knows.

They were able to shut down the passing game because they could shut down UT's run game without loading the box. If their OL has taken steps back, their ability to shut down the passing game probably has as well. (Not to mention the uncalled defensive holding. If they're allowed to do that, then they will still shut down the passing game.)

You are saying the committee is ignorant of the fact that defense wins games? Or corrupt in ignoring what they do know because offense sells TV commercials? I'm trying to understand (not dispute) the charge.

As for the guy (I take it you mean Bishop), he didn't even mention that we would lose to GA in the posts that were posted. He simply said a loss to Arkansas was disqualifying. Or do I remember it wrong?

I’m saying that if we were winning games 45-28 instead of 25-10 we would have a lot better chances of getting in with 2 losses. At the end of the day this is a business and offensive fireworks grab a lot of eyeballs and the attention of the committee so take that for what it’s worth.

I’m not saying that it’s right whatsoever but yes I 100% believe we are being punished by the media for winning with defense rather than offense.

To win theyll have to be creative for like the 2nd time this yr. Cant run the same vanilla run every 2nd down or the same inside run 65 times. Cant wait to throw on 3rd and 7 when everyone knows its coming. Let UGA just crowd the LOS and youre toast esp with our team right now.


They need some tendency breakers badly.
