Recruiting Football Talk VIII

That last time I was in Athens when we beat them, those bastards turned their scoreboard off the second the clock it zero to prevent people from taking photos.

So if you're going and we're winning, start snapping photos on repeat with a couple of seconds remaining.
1992 game ABC even had Vince Dooley on the broadcast for a few minutes. Brent Mussberger and Dick Vermeil could barely hide the fact that they felt UT had no chance against UGA.

Yes! You're the man! Scrappy, never-give-up Vols. Shuler and Co. beat "unstoppable" Zaier and Garrison Hearst. I was a wee lad. F Georgia. We used to own these bishes. We can do it again.

Yes, Columbia, TeTennessee.
My hometown is just 35, 40 miles from Columbia. Growing up, we always went to Columbia for fun or on dates. Shadybrook Mall, Shadybrook Cinema, bowling alley, places to eat. A lot of my childhood, especially high school, was spent in that town.

Theater is gone now, the mall is a few different things...I get sad now whenever I'm in Columbia, and look at those places that use to be.

If we knock Kirby out of the playoffs this year, the talk is going to come back about Kirby getting the least results with the most talent since... I can't remember his name.

But he has lost control of Kirby's shine. 😂 100,000 guys in the league, only 1 title, and now he's watching the dance at home on TV. 😂 Let it happen!

Columbia, TN? We stopped there once. Went to see the Polk house, wondered around the old downtown, ate some good grub. Somewhere there were photos and memorabilia from Mule Days through the years. I think at Puckett's. Enjoyed it.

The mules that draw the carriages in New Orleans are from Columbia.
I lived in Columbia and was the HP at Greymere for several years.
Great little town.
Mule Day was always a great time
