I don’t know but I’d think conference championship losses would have to be bad for them to bump you out.So, IF we lose this weekend. What's our best way back in? IU loses blow out to OSU. Minn beats PSU. Oregon beats OSU in B10 Championship . BYU loses AZ state and (Kansas or B12 Championship). TX loses to A&M, who tben loses to GA in SECCG.
M.O.N.E.Y. The SEC and L10 have huge television contracts with major networks and get big $50 million payouts to each member school. The PAC12 was negotiating with Bob's Streaming Service and each team was going to net $12.50. Fact is tv will pay for good football games because people will be watching. But all schedules aren't created equal. This ain't the NFL. There are huge differences in these conferences in terms of the number of quality teams. You literally had the best teams from the Big 12 and Pac 12 leave their conferences for others. Why should anybody challenge themselves with a tough schedule if only winning matters rather than the context of who you played?
Under your world view the SEC should go to 0 conference games and have their teams play nothing but Group of Five teams. Just winning matters right? That way the entire 12 team playoff field is just undefeated SEC teams that played soft schedules.
Yea! I think I posted something last night. But basically there’s no change. Nico is still on tap to play and, per him, the media is making it more of a story than it actually is.Hey @Checker_the_Shire, did you ever hear back from your contact about an injury update?
If Indianna played Tennessee's schedule they would would lose six or seven games. The worst SEC team would be in top tier of the L10.The whole idea was to simply the stupid f’ing playoff criteria.
Never said it’s perfect.
Strength of schedule will never be equal……and why should a team get screwed because the teams on their schedule suck?
Let’s be honest……Tennessee’s schedule ain’t that great….1 win over a current ranked team.
NCSU and Oklahoma suck. Kent is the worst team in FBS.
And what's wrong with James Pearce? I mean the dude has had zero impact. I think he is major overrated.13 points, but sat the bench for most first half, that i saw. didn't watch louisville. but hasn't played up to the billing, imo
As a Grizzlies fan, I wasn’t thrilled with the pick. I thought they could have taken DK and added a center in free agency. But Edey has been solid. He’s averaging 11 and 7. He’s kind outplayed DK so far. The Grizzlies also took a wing in the second round, Jaylen Wells. Surprisingly, he’s got better numbers than DK, too. He’s a good defender. I’m still rooting for DK though to have games like last night. So I see that Knecht once again proved he's better than Edey last night
That's not surprising, because DK is a sub on a loaded roster and the Grizzlies roster is not loaded. As a Grizzlies fan, I wasn’t thrilled with the pick.
