Recruiting Football Talk VIII

This is my favorite SEC basketball and baseball coverage team. They cover the entire conference and know the teams well. They also love the respective sports and it shows. Especiallly in a leauge dominated by football. Better than most and a good way to stay in tune with our competition.

I am probably in the minority but I really don't like these new stadiums, it takes away from the experience. I think they build them for people who really don't like going to games. Football is a red blooded sport for red blooded Americans. I like fighting the crowd and braving the elements. If I wanted to be perfectly comfy I would watch the game at the house. Nobody shoot me but I don't like Mercedes Benz.
I hope that they never make Neyland like that. I live in fear that they will redo the bathrooms near me and take out the piss trenches.

We have a star in the NBA and he is definitely a VFL.

Thank you for the heads up; I may check this one out. This is why I have my YT set to record all Lakers games.

Lebron praised Knecht during the tournament when DK was at Tennessee. Said he was the kind of player that made people watch the dance.

I think you just like looking at other guys' junk.

Question is, if a loss in Championship is your 3rd loss, what happens?
No one knows. It's a defect in the system but the championship games are giantic moneymakers for the conferences. Even a championship loser with it's 2rd loss, if they got in, would play one more game than every other team and be the only team without a bye. Same for a loser with a 1st loss.

There is also the chance that the winner would have to beat the loser for a second time in the same playoff series. The loser thus becomes the only team with a double-elimination privilege, and the winner the only team required to beat the same playoff opponent twice.

Some speculate that the SEC and Big 10 will push for inclusion of conference title game losers to avoid pressure to end the conference title games. I think the Big 10 surely will do that; they don't have the depth to get even the four teams they are bogusly promoting included on the merits, much have a fifth playoff team on their bench. Of course the Big 10's scheduling is so rigged that, who knows, they may have a filler team in one championship game bracket. I haven't checked this year, but I have observed it in the past.

I myself don't really care about the team we eliminate in Atlanta. @🤠
