As a Grizzlies fan, I wasn’t thrilled with the pick. I thought they could have taken DK and added a center in free agency. But Edey has been solid. He’s averaging 11 and 7. He’s kind outplayed DK so far. The Grizzlies also took a wing in the second round, Jaylen Wells. Surprisingly, he’s got better numbers than DK, too. He’s a good defender. I’m still rooting for DK though to have games like last night.

If DK had been drafted by the Grizz his numbers would be better right now.

My connection stated tonight that the media is just trying to create a narrative but Nico is still on par to play Saturday. He’s still saying that he could have gone in Saturday but they wanted to be cautious and allow him to get as much rest as possible.

Maybe, but the Grizzlies roster is loaded- just hurt. The Lakers really only have 3/4 big contributors. Wells and DK are shooting about the same from 3 with Wells averaging 7 more minutes. So far, the Grizzlies made the correct moves for their team, but there’s a long way to go.

I will agree that Deion has brought them from a mid-tier middle school team to the J.V. level but North Dakota State might be the strongest team they have played this year. Florida or Auburn would walk them.

Grizzlies have a fairly solid roster though, they just haven’t been healthy. Ja, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson have all missed time. Ja (has probably missed 4 games already and been limited in a few others) and Bane are still out.

With his size and length for a SG, would think he could create his own shot. I think a huge part of this offense is being aggressive inside, driving to the rim on bounce or Fast Break. So far, i've not seen that.

Went back an looked at his NF highlights. Sure enough several play he went to rim and finished strong. Defenders have to respect that, which opens up three, or another player.

His three shot is very fluid.

I believe Redick is just bringing DK along slowly. Towards end of year, I’d expect him to be starting over Reddish now that he benched DLo

I mean, he’s avg 16.7 points on 54.3% fg shooting, 58.8% 3pt shooting at 24.7 minutes per game. Just so you understand clearly, that’s 27ppg per 40 min

As a Lakers fan, the roster is LeBron,Anthony Davis and a group of role Players.

AR-15 is a quality scorer but I don't consider him a go to guy. Should've traded DLo and a few others for a top star like LaMelo Ball.

He has an elite release time on his shot. Only needs an ounce of daylight.

He isn’t much of an athlete. I don’t think you’re gonna see him put the ball on the floor a ton. His fitness level is pretty obviously below the other guys cause he hasn’t been in our S&C program for long.

I think he will work just fine as an elite shooter. I expect him to average 15+ points this year

I get he's attempting a compliment, but serious "Real football" vibes going. "Old school" smh CRB has definitely modernized his offense. Chaz is just one example of keeping this going beyond Knecht. We aren't going backwards to mid-60 ppg seasons.
