Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Technically it did.

If you would’ve RR, that would’ve been a nice payday. That’s my biggest issue, I never RR.

Thing with that is you have to be really precise or you’ll lose your ass quick if you have no idea what you’re doing but rewarding if you do…I just don’t have that kind guts 😭😂 so I play high odd singles or parlays

It gives you a better chance at winning? If anything, it’s the same. If you’re gonna lose, you’re gonna lose.

Timing of losses matters just as much as anything else.
Which is stupid. Bama getting in because they lost 3 weeks earlier to Tennessee instead of Georgia is ridiculous. There’s zero valid argument for Bama (unless they straight up win the SEC champ) being in but not Tennessee in.

On top of that, had Bama played in Athens they lose that game too. Bama was very lucky to win that game

It's always been that way though.
Too many other variables aren't equal for that to be the massive qualifier people want it to be.

"They remember what you do in November"

I think you’re basically right, BUT if you are just comparing two teams and resumes are reasonably close, H2H should be decisive.

Imo. Bama/OM/Tennessee all should get in. The bigger tragedy and spot of outrage should be Boise St or whichever G5 team getting in just to get annihilated. They're the ones stealing a spot.

Sometimes but not always. Most recent examples in 22 Tcu and Ohio state both lost their most receht games and made the playoffs. ND got killed by Clemson last week of the season in 2020 and made it in

I kind of agree. I think Boise St could beat some of the teams that get in Colorado/byu, Miami/smu, Penn state. They played good vs Oregon. But I do agree Bama/OM/UT deserve a spot

Another thing is let’s say the CFB polls look similar to AP. Bama makes SEC champ and loses, will they stay consistent and drop them out and below Tennessee? Or keep them above? I think that will show how consistent they actually are and if there is a real strong bias
