Yup I think the juice was towards 9 wins, which I thought was the sweet spot. My simulator had us at 8.9 wins.

We've both overperformed so far and NC St and OU ended up a bit worse than expected. FL is on par imo, Arky a bit better than expected.

10 wins is absolutely amazing. Something we only dreamt of for 15 years and here we are on the brink of 10-11+ in 2 out of 3 years (9 wins the "down year" lol)

Not only would it be nice if we got total transparency, not only with referees, but also the playoff committee. Yeah the playoff commish does interviews, but they’ve never released the criteria of what they’re looking at. I say bring back the BCS to decide the rankings since analytics are in vogue now. The human element will always be biased.
