Anyone seen anything on the NIL changes coming?

I actually like the rule. Too bad the idea that the NCAA can void contracts by comparing them to some other irrelevant contract will be shot down by a judge like he's playing duck hunt on easy mode.

So the NCAA will be aware of every offer in detail before it is made? NCAA pets are going to have an incredible advantage when that information is leaked.

The one saving grace I see is "all Division 1 athletes" - I take that as they'd have to be enrolled and official college athletes first, so they'll at least already be committed (and we know full well the details will be ironed out well before that).

Now...for transfers...different deal. Though one does wonder if schools will just wait to "release" the deal until they're on campus.

Either way, this seems like silly micromanagement that will only cause a flood of lawsuits. The lawyers are going to be overserved in no time.

This new NCAA Sovietism appears to propose new criminality by which the corrupt NCAA can allow favorites to cheat with impunity while targeting favorites' rivals? That's maximally unjust.

The NCAA is the organization that f'd everything up! They are not the solution.

That isn’t going to fly, they courts have already ruled on this. The clearinghouse would never get done and no doubt would be bias on approval. This will go to court if they try it. The clearinghouse has always been a turtle paced mess. The ncaa isn’t trying to get better, it looks like they are looking at ways to hold folks up. Nobody trust them, all this is shady six ways till Sunday.

And all we have to look forward to is they'll be gone eventually and the Sankey-Petitti Athletic Association will determine every move.

Devils all around us. They make EVERY single move based on making themselves every last dollar imaginable...but when players do the same, SHAME!! Remind anyone else of something similar in their life?

They've tried this for 50+ years and now the conferences, unis, ADs, coaches are about to pay dearly. You'd think they'd learn eventually.

Most congress folks probably side with the NCAA sadly, from what we've seen. They're simps for coaches like Saban and his ilk, not players. Happy to keep young men and women down. But a 50, 60 year old coach that looks like them making $10mm in an "amateur sport" no problem!

SCOTUS is the only entity that's done a damn thing for college atheletes in all of these decades. Once you return to constitutional law, and not biased personal opinions, these young folks start making hay. How interesting

I like both those guys and don’t remember ever having anything negative to say to either of them, but that’s some pretty thin skin to let someone on a message board run you off. Idk a lot about rugby, other than they have trench warfare during the scrum, then it's about speed and pass/catch ability on offense and tracking/toughness on defense.

My 3 are:

1) Jamal Lewis
2) Jalen Hurd
3) CP3

Guess I'm offensive minded.

But I'd pay 2 tickets to the Chattanooga game ($500) just to see peak Al Wilson on the rugby pitch one time
