Recruiting Football Talk VIII

He doesn’t know. When has that ever stopped him?

Jabari was damn solid. Didn’t have much wiggle but built like a brick 💩house.

Bishop isn’t very big but seems to be a patient runner with decent instincts. I hope he can be serviceable, bc we’ll need him early. But considering he hasn’t really played meaningful snaps yet, there’s no way you could seriously make this claim.
Yeah. Small was solid like Bishop looks to be.

Bishop might run a little harder but Small was legit as receiver.

Bishop makes us a better team

No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get a grade better than a C in math. I asked my math teacher if he had any advice. He said, yeah, just face it, you're very average.

I personally think that's very mean!

Is that the sum of your story, or did you divide it up into fractions?

yeah, so does every coach. at this point Kiffin has stayed at Ole Miss past the average. Average coaching tenure is 3.7 years, Kiffin is on year 5.
Kiffin may finally be passed the damaged goods phase. He had three programs with everyone associated with them saying he is a lowlife POS. Anyone from administrative staff to boosters associated with Tennessee, USC, and Bama all have nothing positive to say about the guy. That’s hurt him in getting a high profile job anywhere else.

Anybody go the 0 RB route in PPR leagues? Thoughts?
Depends on point value of the PPR. Not if it's only a half PPR, but in a full PPR I'll go 0 RB if I can't get a RB that's featured in the pass game.

Alvin Kamara won me a lot of money in PPR leagues his first two years in the league lol.

D4H would not bother with the foreign accent.

Might as well compare me to BOT while you’re at it lol.
Rope-a-doping on arguments is what I was referencing. Original context of this discussion was “allowing” talent to leave the state. When his Canadian back-story was brought up you resorted to his physical makeup. Basically build a wall around this state so even VISITORS can’t get out? 🤔

Not the spring game. Literally standing on the field during a game. He’s a true RB that runs with more conviction than Small. Will he put up better numbers than Small? Probably not because we won’t need him as much and there is more pure talent in front of him and he won’t get those type of carries.
So you’re basing it on how he looks standing on the sideline.

We can do the usual "underrated" or "diamond in the rough" stuff without diminishing a guy who was part of one of the most successful RB rooms in at least 25 years, and ran his butt off for UT.

It's a tough spot for Chris. I believe there are multiple NFL guys, but what's he supposed to say? Lol. And he's not a NFL scout, so...

But it gets fun quotes and clicks. And the optimism is nice.
It shows he passed Teammate 101. How to respond to stupid questions.
