I don't think there is any way they would keep OSU in the top 8 after dropping a game as a three TD favorite.

They need to worry about making the tournament at all.

A bigger concern is who we end up playing in Neyland. You are going to have slaw like Indiana in those bottom four seeds. Then you will have 1 or two extremely talented teams like Bama or Ohio State or Miami.

I think it’s stupid but they’ll compare Arkansas as comparable to Michigan. Oregon loss is better than UGA.

And Indiana is ranked higher than Bama.

Nightmare scenario coming into play….. Say TAMU beats Texas tonight and then wins next week against UGA. Clemson beats SMU in ACC championship…. You now have 2 conference champs at 10-3. SMU, UGA would be in the playoff, I don’t think Clemson or TAMU get in with 4 losses. Now you have a ton of 2 loss teams after the other bids. So you have..
5 auto bids.
ND 1 loss
Indiana 1 loss
PSU/Oregon loser
UGA
SMU…

That leaves 2 spots for 4 2 loss teams
Tennessee, Texas, Miami, OSU.

Which is BS. They don’t deserve it after losing to Oklahoma. I think, of the 3 loss teams, SC deserves it the most. However, of the 3 loss teams, I’d much rather play Bama again than SC, they’re hot right now.
