The way the announcers talked during the GT/Georgia game, Georgia would still be inculded even after loss, but I'd assume they'd fall behind us?

2 and McMurray and Harrison not far behind with Boo coming on quickly at Safety. Secondary quickly became loaded. Not sure I've ever seen a position group improve this drastically

Fire Willie Martinez! The secondary has regressed, and this coach hasn’t proven himself since 2021. Keeping him is a mistake. RG is the only defensive coach earning his pay, but Heupel’s loyalty to friends may cost him his job.

First change in order for the CFP is to change auto bids for CC being in the top 4 for a 1st rd bye. If Clemson, who will most likely be ranked >= 15, beats SMU they shouldn’t qualify for a top 4 slot. They aren’t top 4 worthy just for that game. I can live with them being bumped to the bottom of the CFP, say 10-12. But they aren't worthy of top 4, even top 6-8.

How would Clemson earn a bye? I thought only the top 4 ranked get a bye. They should clearly be the lowest ranked conference winner if they win.

If you think about it every playoff team gets a bye except the ones that play in and lose the championship game.

Our bye is this week. If you want the bye week for the week of the 20th then you have to win just like we will in a playoff first round. The loser of the title game are the teams that really get stung. No bye at all.

With that being said, I’d much rather have a shot at the round of 8 in front of Neyland than in Atlanta in a 50/50 crowd against another SEC school.

I think we need a DT and a LB from the portal. Depends on how many upperclassmen actually enter the draft. If Pearce AND Josephs both declare then would want another EDGE. Biggest need is a big body DT to replace Big O, Simmons and ONL.

Our ability to rotate quality depth is the biggest factor in the dominance of our DL, IMO. Not sure that guys like Moi and Jenkins are as elite as they have looked without coming in fresh against tired OL. Glad we have both of them.

If they want a DT, I’m sure it won’t be hard to good a good one. Everybody eats on that line.

Heather Dinich has OSU hosting us. She’s the mouthpiece for the committee. Doesn’t seem like we’ll host unless Texas beats UGA and/or Penn St gets destroyed.

There is enough northern (those idiots can call themselves midwesterners, but that hasn't been the mid west since the Louisiana Purchase) bias on the committee to see this happen, but objectively we should be ranked 6th and the 8 seed on Tuesday. Then when TX beats GA and Oregon beats PSU, we should be the 6 seed hosting either IU or the worst ranked conference championship, whichever gets the 11.

The B1G is a freaking joke!

AZ St is playing really well this season.

Boo still struggles in coverage at times. I think his best spot is safety. He can ball hawk.

I think his talents are best utilized at Star. Very strong run defender and instinctual in coverage.

No easy games left. Round two of the playoffs. I get that we need a good matchup but we have to bring it every game, regardless.

Work on the small details necessary to improve. Maximum effort one play at a time. It's the Heupel doctrine. No need to fret about the things beyond one's control.

I hear ya, but remember the Botch seasons that ended with promise and expectations for the next year only to come back down to earth? I think that is exactly what UF and SCe are getting right now: a minor bowl, a mid record and a big dose of false hope!

Yea, I don't know if I would want to play ASU right now. Dominating Running back and a solid defense. Just because they play in the horrid Big 12 doesn't exactly mean they suck as some individuals believe..

A Kentucky player left the sideline for a quick snack during the rivalry game against Louisville.
