It's an NCAA rule. Why would I expect it to be enforced? Especially when the NCAA rule stipulates that the conference [B1G] shall review the video and make any suspension for cases where it may have been missed. You really believe there will be suspensions?
They announced on 99.1 earlier that tOSU and UM were both fined $100,000 and there would be no player suspensions.Jujaun Jennings was suspended after his fight during the Vandy game. I wonder how the BS 10 will respond to the fight after the Michigan game and the actions of the officers.
Sankey should be on the hot seat for thisMultiple top 10 teams dropped 4-10 spots after losses during the season. Including road losses to ranked teams (Georgia at Ole Miss).
Ohio State loses to a horrible Michigan team at home and dropped 3 spots. The CFP committee, ran by the freaking Michigan AD, has been overvaluating wins against Michigan all season and now overvalues a loss, and they're the only entity to rank OSU over Tennessee.
Even more, the way its currently set, 2 Big 10 teams will host along with Notre Dame. Bringing massive revenue to Big 10. SEC gets 1 host site.
Vols at OSU
Indiana at UGA
Bama at Notre Dame
Az State at Penn State
@TN-POSSUM just posted there will be no suspensions for OSU players. It's an NCAA rule. Why would I expect it to be enforced? Especially when the NCAA rule stipulates that the conference [B1G] shall review the video and make any suspension for cases where it may have been missed.
Have you ever wondered why the network video of the start of the fight was never broadcast? Or the game film that teams use?
I don't care if we go to Columbus. The Big10 is nothing to fear, especially tOSU. It's the principle of the whole thing. The VOLS should have a home playoff game. The CFP committee/media creates the narratives and then moves the goal posts to fit their wishes. It's a corrupt system, ran by corrupt people, and nobody is going to do anything to stop them.Remember also that Ohio State should have lost at home to Nebraska. I do not fear them whatsoever.
We are just in a difficult draw - having to play no. 1 sucks. Sucks to be on that path
Just win baby!
Oh the B1G actually made an announcement? The entire matter has been swept under the rug for 3 days.@TN-POSSUM just posted there will be no suspensions for OSU players.
You have to remember what else they have said all along. They are not going to "punish" the losers of these conference championship games (unless you are Clemson or SMU). I am certain they won't push TX/GA or OR/PSU losers below the 7th or at most 8th spot. He gave the example of TCU losing their championship game while ranked 3rd and they did not move down.I didn't hear him say that. Just said order of teams not playing won't switch places with each other.
100%. I happen to think we’ll play even more inspired, pissed off and physical at Ohio State. We got this.I don't care if we go to Columbus. The Big10 is nothing to fear, especially tOSU. It's the principle of the whole thing. The VOLS should have a home playoff game. The CFP committee/media creates the narratives and then moves the goal posts to fit their wishes. This bs needs to be fixed all teams not playing on a even playing field, osu, bama and Georgia get special treatment.. anyone else 9-3 wouldn’t be in the playoffs and if we lost at home as a 21 point favorite they would take us out to the playoffs entirely.. make it make sense enough people need to point this **** out specially sec talking heads about osu above Tennessee!Committee has a B10 bias that is easy to see. They are going to make us go to Ohio State.
Yeah keep thinking that. We couldn’t beat Arkansas.Disagree. I like our side. I'd rather face the Big 10 teams than the SEC teams on the other side of the bracket. Georgia and Texas will have to play each other potentially 3 times then you have Bama lurking. Ohio State and Oregon don't scare me as much as rematches with Georgia and Alabama.
Gimme Ohio State and Oregon anyday of the week then potentially Penn State to reach the Final.
