Stoops is a fool. Anyone with an ounce of objectivity could see that 8/9 run run they went on was an anomaly and as good as it was going to get.

I honestly think Stoops bought his own hype. Now he's such trying to figure out how to keep it together, Kentucky even forked over top tier money to extend him. Now he's scraping the bottom of the conference.

He overall has done a good job at UK since its just a terrible job.

Keep him or get rid of him they'll always be irrelevant. I just don't believe you can win anything there.

Just like Ole Miss or Ms St. They just don't have it in their DNA. I don't believe you can win big at any of these lower tier SEC schools until I see it done.

Just wasn’t going to work out for him here. Seems like a good, team oriented guy. Hope he finds success wherever he ends up.

I remember one where his goal was to have 1k yards....

Still think he's better than Nimrod. Felt he shoulda got in more than him, especially on the outside.

Either way, we knew some of those WR's would drop like flies.

What about Nate Spillman? I'm not sure he's even stepped on the field in 2 years. Not for a kickoff or a single down.

Truthfully, I think they see their system as overcoming a lot of OL deficiencies. Truth is Nico will do better with better protection. Need immediate upgrades in athleticism.

This OL was recently selected as semifinalists for the Joe Moore award, the award selected by former OLinemen. You know, people who actually know what they’re talking about.

But I get it, we always have to have somebody to fire. And the opinions about Banks and Martinez don’t look so good now, so next coach up.

You're probably right, old school coaches like Belichick don't care about players feelings that's what made him successful. College players these days need to be hugged and coddled.

How’s this compare to other teams (ie UGA, Bama, etc.)? I imagine it’s close? Either way, I think it proves what happens when you have a stable, yet solid, coach coupled with a staff that knows what they’re doing and an athletic department that’s not in complete shambles.

We’re still well below them overall. Lately UGA and Alabama were reaching the 80% to 90% range. Ohio State as well.

Off the top of my head I believe most National Champions over the last 20 years were above 70% with Michigan being the recent exception.

However, if we’ve doubled our ratio in 4 years while under restrictions then we’re doing great.

I heard a crazy tidbit on Basilio yesterday morning. It’s year four and Glen Elarbee doesn’t have a single player he recruited on the high school level that starts on the OL.

The current starters or since hes been here? They better have developed because we need em next year.
