I wish now I d kept watching it. I changed channels after UT signee Dodson caught the bomb that put them up 14 .I thought Baylor was going to wax them.

If not for the Baylor coach going stupid in 2nd half McCallie never comes back, he made some absolutely stupid decisions in that game and at one point I thought Hazle had made his way down for the 2nd half to call plays for Baylor. They went away from what was working and it bit them. I’m not a fan of either school but Baylor should have stomped them like they did first time.

This is a fairly significant development. Texas went into Georgia and pulled a DL that Kirby went all-in on. That doesn’t happen very often.

Reminds me of the 90’s during Rodney Garner’s time under Fulmer where he got Jamal Lewis, Deion Grant and Cosey Coleman from the Peach State.

Didn't ya know, UGA doesn't pay players. They just go there because of the culture.

Must be for the reckless driving since no one ever gets punished for it.

With the portal, non elite or top schools and G5 schools are the new JUCOs.

Schools seem to do a better job of getting guys eligible too. I did notice that Mississippi State had several JC guys.

I wanted him, but I’m glad we didn’t overpay.

If guys follow the money in HS recruiting, the price will keep going up every year if they pan out. Somebody will always pay more and the player has mobility. A player can 100% follow that strategy—I’m glad they have the option—but it seldom benefits the school to pay top dollar.

UGA signed the #1 DL, #1 Edge, and #1 LB in a class that includes 7 top 50 players (after signing 3 DL in the top 100 players last year). I wish Terry were a dawg, but we’re going to be okay.

The funny part is that you are on a Vol site trying to convince us that Ga did not or would not overpay? Your entire 5* class was overpaid so whats 1 more player?

Elijah Herring was at the top of the list in tackles last year. Playing out of need doesn't mean anything
